Since the U.S. gives Egypt nearly $3 billion/year in aid, it's time we looked into their state-run media, which is responsible for some of the most anti-American propaganda in the Middle East. I just wonder if all those people who become apoplectic over the aid we give to Israel will be equally as outraged over the money when it comes to Egypt.

Representatives has finally become so aware of the media's part in fuelling terrorism in the Mideast. This is a very significant matter which the President will not be able to avoid. Terrorism in the Mideast has a homegrown and organic quality to it, the basic principles of which are developed in mosques, madrassas and other educational institutions. As we Israelis know, Muslim children are taught hatred of Jews and other westerners from the get-go. Their hostility is so ingrained that no amount of O'Bama communication techniques will change their perceptions, not unlike the way the Nazis taught German children to despise and demean Jews, i.e., Hitler Youth Corps. Making peace with such an enemy requires force and resoluteness, not olive branches. I believe that the U.S. government may now be coming to the point where they realize that widespread political correctness and liberal ideals are no match for the bloodthirsty and onesided determination of the fundamentalist Muslim. The House's vote on the matter was nearly unanimous. Should O'Bama not act decisively on the House's statement, he will lose all credibility and may even be impeached. I should add that the recent message sent by "neutral" Switzerland, limiting the number of minarets, is also a signal that the West, in general, is beginning to appreciate the extent and nature of the challenges to our respective societies and cultures promulgated by Mideastern Muslims and their constituents.
