Unfortunately, the Indian government refuses to allow them to emigrate to israel! However, should they arrive, they should not be allowed to be victimized by the Haredim who will use them as fodder for their Yeshivot! They should be free to observe Judaism as they see fit like all other Israelis!

I am definitely more impressed by people converting to Judaism in remote indian mountains than by Jews from Israel calling themselves by a greek godly name... Torah is always brighter than avoda zara !

My poor knowledge is that the indian governement does not forbide them to emigrate to israel but only to convert to Judaism in India, because indian law forbides proselytism. My understanding is that it is the israeli government which does not allow them to immigrate... because they are still not jewish. Israeli governement does also refuse to give them temporary visa to study and convert in Israel.

You can't judge but G-d does. Who opens the hears of Rabbis to accept. There must be a reason or reasons.
