33. To #24 What about your borders with Native Indian
Dani ,   Amstedam NL   (12.15.09)
Why yo complain with us? try to look back to your own history and check your borders.
34. The myth of the “Palestinian People”.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (12.15.09)
It starts with the creation of a fictitious “Palestinian People in 1964 and their alleged quest for political self-determination. For this story we are indebted to Major General Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest ranking Soviet bloc defector during the cold war. He was the right hand man of Romanian Communist Dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, head of Rumanian intelligence. According to General Pacepa, in the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviets were in the business of creating “liberation organizations”. In 1964 they created the Palestine Liberation Organization and one in Bolivia. The next year they created one for Columbia. In the 70s they created the Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia, whose talents were employed in blowing up US airline offices in Europe, and also the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine who blew up Israelis, preferably school buses. The PLO was their most successful creation. More at : From Russia With Terror. - http://xrl.us/bgf8xj
35. preconditions
marcel   (12.15.09)
olmert really set a precedent in all of his negotiations with abbas and erdogan. He offered everything for nothing . So abbas parrots olmert. I hereby tell abbas this-no preconditions, there are no 67 borders as all the land is disputed territories. Your casualties were caused by your own terror. You were offered everything, yoiu did nothing but beg for world handouts. Jordan's land will be up for negotiation as well as compensation for 700,000 jews who were kicked out of arab lands. Finally, we will discuss transferrring the entire arab population on west bank to jordan.
36. how to get what you want
tom ,   toronto, canada   (12.15.09)
how to get what you want by refusing to negotiate in good faith - the 1967 border was an armistice line, because it represented an arab invasion of jewish territory. now, rather than returning territory that was internationalized or belonged to israel in the partition plan of 1947, abu mazzen seeks to grab that, and only then to negotiate for further concessions. unbelievable hutzpah!
37. PLO TERROR LeaderAbbas Financed Massacre of Israeli Athletes
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (12.15.09)
at the Munich Olympic Games. Negotiating with and surrendering land to terrorists breaks international law and spits on the graves of the Jewish athletes murdered at Munich. No more evil and immoral surrenders to barbaric, implacable enemies! Re-take Gaza. Declare sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Enablers of global jihad, weak and powerless Western leaders imperil the entire Free World with their disgraceful belief that the only way to deal with constant Islamic violence is to surrender.
38. Abbas and his Taqiyya
Brod ,   USA   (12.15.09)
Chip by chip, Abbas is trying to chip away Israel into nothingness by way of Taqiyya and manipulations of external entities. His 1967 crap is just their code for the destruction of Israel as spelled out in their Charter. Israel should not be fooled by their crap. The fact is the Palestinians already have a large country in Jordan. The only reason why they want a large chunk of tiny Israel is to fulfill their Charter that calls for the destruction of Israel. Israel should remain resolute and strong in the face of these challenges and say NO, NO, NO to the dark forces. Israel should continue to care for their own people who will insure its existence. Israel needs to continue building and developing its liberated historic homeland of Judea and Samaria to provide for their own people.
39. ABBAS ASK HAMMAS TO RETURN GAZA TO PA

Authority and then wake up from illusion.
40. I agree with Rashid - let's go back to '67
JPS ,   Efrat   (12.15.09)
and put on a joint Israeli-Palestinian production of "Hair". Hmmm... not sure how we'll handle the nude scene... maybe we'll have all the women in hijabs or those crazy moomoo bathrobes the haredi women wear outside the house in the morning with a shamtta over their heads. The guys would be in hmmm.... ok, we'll just skip that whole scene.
41. Abbas IS a terrorist in a suit
Leah ,   Israel   (12.15.09)
He planned the Munich Olympic massacre and is a Holocaust denyer and he does not know his history. Jordan occupied Judea and the Shomron until Israel liberated the area.
42. ABBAS's DEMANDS!
Spencer ,   Israel   (12.15.09)

Start building everywhere on our holy land. The Pals have a state called Jordan.
46. Good thinking Sir
Sagi   (12.15.09)
Please keep it that way. Your in a rut and until you start to think logically and address the problem with a modicum of rationality then in that rut you and your "Palestinian People" will remain.
47. Marcl#35
Fadi ,   Beirut   (12.15.09)
you want to transfer 3 mils palestinians to Jordan ..?? Run for an office first Marcel and see how many Israelis will vote for you .
48. I say let's just
Barney ,   USA   (12.15.09)
forget the whole deal. We don't need the peace you are after. Arabs go back to arab lands and arab lands don't have to compensate Jews who were forced out and Jews don't have to compensate arabs who were forced out. The arabs still got the long end of the stick . Good bye.
49. In his final gesture to Israel, Abbas gives us the finger.
David ,   Hartford USA   (12.15.09)
Was there ever better evidence that Abbas is Arafat's twin? He knows that Israel won't even entertain such a stupid thought. But when he instigates the 3rd Intifada, he'll say the ball was in Israel's court! Mr. Abbas, you are a deceitful warrior for Islam. That's ok, we understand that 'war is deceit' - your Islamic spokesmen repeat that verse from your 'holy' book all day long. Ok, we accept that you will lie to us, which means there will never be peace with you as the leader. Time for you to go. As long as the PA leadership will lie about their intentions, Israel will happily continue to build it cities, wherever we want. Abbas is a failure. He should be removed from office, and that's the TRUTH.
50. 1967 boarders? Ho, ho, ho.
Brad ,   USA   (12.15.09)
Hey, Abbas. The 1967 boarders didn't keep the Muslim coward nations from ganging up on Israel in 1967. Praise God, it also didn't keep Israel from kicking the snot out of the Muslim coward nations. And, "a condition", for what? More demands of land for peace? Give me a break. If you want to live in peace, then leave Israel alone, because if they ever get serious about defending themselves, the surrounding Muslim coward nations will have only Hell to look forward to.
51. Here we go again
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.16.09)
Sigh. The Palestinians are vanquished. Six failed wars; sixty-one years of terror that have made them a most reviled people throughout the world; a corrupt and inept Palestine Authority .... and still they think they can set the terms. That is why they have nothing and will never have anything. Belligerent and defiant public statements contribute to the world view of Palestinians as a hopeless laughingstock. Keep it up! What's next, 1947 borders? Dream on, accept the fact that the Palestinians have failed miserably at every turn, and trot off the world stage, please. There are a great many important things for the world to attend to, and Palestinians aren't even on the list. Time for the Palestinians to acknowledge that they have been defeated at every turn, and move on.
52. Sarah B., wrong again, check UNSCR 465...
BBSNews ,   Charlotte, NC   (12.16.09)
...ahhh, bummer. International law and UN resolutions trump your nonsense once again. The Palestinians have rights guaranteed to them and some screaming harridan who claims to be from the US has FA to say about it. You cannot change the law Sarah baby!
53. Abbas names 1967 borders as precondition for talks
Armando Romo ,   Stockton, California   (12.16.09)
I would like to see mr. Netanyahu and entire Knesset tell Abbas they will be happy to recognize the 1967 borders when (1)The Mullahs give up their political power and allow Christianity and Judaism be taught in Palestinian school(2) when religious leaders do not kill palestinians for befriending Jews and Christians.(3)When they give up their moon god and accept the God of Abraham.(4)When they start teaching the principals of the American constitution as a model for their living.(5)When they give up honor killings and quit "castrating" their baby girls and kill them for talking to a man(6) When they quit submitting to their Mullahs who can only keep their flocks under control by teaching destruction of Israel and America9 (7) When they give up the Koran teachings that they can lie under oath to gain an advantage(8) When freedom of speech and thought is allowed and broadcast over radio, newspapers, and television. When Palestinian Arabs intellectually accept the above, proving it by abiding with the above for a period of years

Orwell ,   farmville USA   (12.16.09)
why must you show your ignorance everyone knows the UN makes NO laws. UN resolutions are simply expressions of some peoples wish list. If you would like to bring your army to Israel to enforce some resolution thank twice The Israel army is a tough nut to crack. You all have a nice day?
55. To: No. 52
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.16.09)
United Nations Security Council Resolutions outside of Chapter Seven are (a) nonbinding and (b) unenforceable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_resolution UNSCR 465 was adopted under Chapter Six -- in others words, it is nonbinding and unenforceable. “Screaming harridan” you say? No, idiot child. Just an expert on international law and an attorney. Sorry to disappoint you. But you've had your nose bloodied so many times on this -- and other fora -- you've grown quite accustomed to it, BS baby. You should seek treatment for your masochistic tendencies. Ahh, bummer indeed. Feel good yet?
56. To: No. 52, redux
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.16.09)
Just in case you are in doubt, here is a link to UNSCR 465. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you will discover that United Nations Security Council Resolution 465 was "adopted unanimously on March 1, 1980 under Chapter VI of the United Nations Charter at the 2203rd meeting." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_465 Got that? Chapter VI. Nonbinding. Unenforceable. That said, here is a link that will put paid to your claims that Israel's presence in Judea and Samaria, and the settlements, are illegal. http://www.globalpolitician.com/24388-israel-jerusalem Although you would benefit from reading the treatise in its entirety, feel free to skip down to the section titled "Law on Israel's Takeover of 1967 Lands." Read both subparagraph 1 and 2 -- the first examines the issue under Security Council Resolution 242 (and confirms what I have told you that it is neither binding nor enforceable, as it was issued under Chapter Six of the United Charter, and not Chapter Seven). The second section discusses Acquisition of Non-Sovereign Land in a Defensive War and concludes that international law does not preclude Israel from retaining AND settling Judea and Samaria and, in fact, fully supports Israel’s right to do precisely that. My, my, my. Don't you feel stupid! You should. You're in the big leagues now, little boy. This is YNet, not Ha'aretz (sorry to hear that they have banned you, by the way). But you and your amateurish junior varsity nonsense have no place here. It’s been an absolute pleasure tearing your arguments to shreds. I'm sure that others here -- the ones that matter -- feel similarly. Go tuck your tail between your legs and slink off like a good little idiot to find an amateurish website where your arguments might actually sound good to unsuspecting and uneducated others. You're really way out of your depth here.
57. Golly gee
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.17.09)
Isn't it just TOO depressing when you go to the trouble of answering posters and providing them with the truth, only to have them go bye-bye? Sigh. Oh well. Let's add BS News to the list of uninformed cowardly posters who have no credible answers. What a surprise (not!). C'est la vie!
58. Not quite
Cortillaen ,   MO, USA   (08.15.10)
You're missing the objective. Negotiation has nothing to do with it. On the contrary, the intent is to drum up enough negative sentiment towards that "evil, Palestinian-hating Israel" that the rest of the world will forcibly give the Palestinian's what they demand. Incidentally, the strategy seems to be proceeding apace, courtesy of a largely anti-Israel world media (see AFP's article titled "Israel rejects Abbas terms for direct talks").
