31. #13: And what of all the pro-Israel diaspora consumers?
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (12.17.09)
In this age of tight competition and tighter budgets, every loss hurts - especially in country like Britain, which cannot seem to stop importing bunny-multiplying welfare-slurping terrorists.
32. Brave, fearless members of the Knesset
Michael ,   Haifa   (12.17.09)
They are just the Mouse that roared. The Brits are really quaking in their shoes
33. What do you expect - YNET news uses the term "West Bank"
Andrew ,   Miami,USA   (12.17.09)
1) YNET - Stop using the term "West Bank" to refer to Judea and Samaria - you are a part of the problem 2) Good - let them label - and use the terms Judea and Samaria 3) Britain is good - quit whining - they have been hijacked by the islamist/left axis - watch for the BNP to make huge strides in the poles
34. Boycott: England, Sweden, Norway and Turkey
Francine ,   Totronto   (12.17.09)
All of the countries have nothing of quality to offer. UK is riddled with crazy moslems. Ikea is cheap rubbish furniture. Turkey looks like Gaza. Why go there?
35. boycott Britain
sb ,   spain   (12.17.09)
#4 you count big numbers of people with null or low adquisition power. Israelis got high adquisition power, so one israeli in consumer matters worth how much 1000000 Turkish? In the other side, I as a Jew LEAVING IN sPAIN WILL BOYCOTT BRITISH COMPANIES, and will recommend to my clients by instance communicactions from france telecom for their companies instead of BT, If we do it like that , they will feel it, no doubt that Britain will change this disgraceful law.
36. #27: Great news, because it means you will disappear
5th generation ,   Israel   (12.17.09)
Please do a thorough check of what it means to boycott "Jewish" goods. For starters, no computer for you, and we don't have to see your trolling.
37. Americans should boycott all Israeli and
Steve ,   New York   (12.17.09)
Jewish goods. Then you will stop these empty threats against your friends. Dudes do you want everyone to hate you all even more down there???
38. Steve - 37 and the rest of the enti-semites
Eyal ,   USA   (12.17.09)
Steve Steve, the world always hated Israel. This is not something new. There is a lot of reasons why to hate; pure jealousy, ignorance, stupidity, religious reasons and just because we are Jews. It seems like you are in the same category. I personally think you are in the ignorance and stupidity.
39. Not national but racial
Shimon ,   Poleg   (12.17.09)
If only this were a national thing but it isn't! These British Boycotts have no problem with Israeli Arab produce such as certain olive oils and salad companies etc. They only are interested in boycotting Jewish owned businesses the same as the academic boycott which has no problem with Non-Jewish academic institutions in Israel. There is a name for this behaviour it is called anti-semitism.

I have a non jewish computer-its great mate!
46. boycott UK journalism instead of the goods
Frank ,   London   (12.17.09)
Boycotting trade is nearsighted. Israel doesn't have a primary problem with trade but with the hostile UK propaganda machine. The spat over the Livini arrest warrant is actually a fantastic opening. In international law, issue of arrest warrants for goverment officials of a foreign country is a hostile act. Mme Livni is not member of government in narrow sense, but she's in the broader sense as the head of parliamentary opposition. So Britain committing a hostile act opens up lots of opportunities. The one that would hurt most would be to remove the accreditation for all British newsagencies in Israel (BBC, Reuters etc), as well as journalists holding a British passport. And since it was a hostile act against the country, one could block BBC and such even from entering Gaza, Yehuda and Shomron. It wouldn't hurt news flow to the UK (there are lots of other, non-UK journalists from other news agencies), and it wouldn't hurt Israeli news on UK, in case Britain decided to retaliate. But it would severly hamper the British propaganda machine. And then, Spain and Sweden could be the next on the list...
47. Boycott Britains biggest export. The English language.
Aaron ,   London   (12.17.09)
48. English Goods
Johnz52   (12.17.09)
Boycott of British goods, that's rich. Besides Tanqueray gin, some rock'n'roll bands and Helen Mirren what else has come out of England that's worth a damn?
49. right on
