zionist forever   (12.18.09)
Its either them or some sick individual who thinks it would be fun to hang that sign on the wall. If its not found then the government should make a replica admit its a replica because the real thing was stolen. The sign is famous and probably the the only recognizable symbol of Aushwitz to anybody who hasn't been inside and looked around.
5. It wasn't replica
kosta ...z polski... ,   GdaƄsk /Dobre Miasto   (12.18.09)
It wasn't replica. Replica hangs now :) When original is stolen. Replica was maded during renovation of old one, in 1996 i guess.

Auschwitz was a German (nazi)concentration camp, built by the nazis in southern Poland, after nazi Germany invaded Poland.

Padlo said police were offering a 5,000-zloty ($1,700) reward for public tipoffs about the thieves. That means that "the whole area is under surveillance" was just a false pretense. Tom Segev, a prominent Israeli writer, correctly said that the Holocaust has become "an object of worship." But how that God costs you only $1,700?
12. ...
Maciej ,   Gdynia, Poland   (12.19.09)
I couldn't belive it when I heard this news for the first time on TV. Now the reward is 115,000 zloty (about $40,000). Probably it was well-organised operation for someone's order.
