They say they are still interested in the proposal that most its uranium is enriched abroad & spent fuel rods would be sent back to providers but they just want to add a few little clauses of their own They are building nuclear sites all over the country some of them they are not declaring to the IAEA which the NPT obligates them to do. They are spending billions on uranium enrichment facilities but don't worry its only for peaceful use so we can generate electricty ths last thing in the world we want is nukes. This is all delaying tactics to keep sanctions to a minimum, continue to get advanced technology from Russia and to buy the time they need to build a nuke and then announce they are pulling out the NPT so having nukes isn't breaking any rules.

Israel has nukes but has never threatened to use them. Other than the nuclear issue Israel has never threatened made any threats against Iran. We didn't like each other but Israel never threatened Iran. The policy of admit nothing but deny nothing was a US idea from the Nixon era. In 2008 the Saudis said as long as Israel does not admit to having nukes on the record they will not develop their own. iran wants a nuclear bomb not nuclear power. It will allow them to be the bully boy of the region, its prestigious, they can be a world power and they hope will have more influence in the west. The country is run by a group of religious nuts all it will take is for the supreme leader to get a vision from Allah that he should use the bomb. The Iranian leadership believes in the suicide cult where if your killed in battle your rewarded by going to paradise with 70 virgins. During the cold war neither Russia or the US believed in that in suicide. Iran is unpredictable. Sadly because of the fact Obama is spineless & never going to be willing to use force no matter how close Iran is to a nuke because it ruins his image as the diplomat & muslim lover.
