I believe that you are misinformed. Pope Pius, perhaps out of a legitimate fear of communism, was an early supporter of the nazi regime in Germany. Statements mildly condemning the mass murder of Jews were too little too late. Please read the material available on this issue on the internet. You will find that many in the Catolic leadership supported the nazi regime while quite a number of clergy, especially in France, risked their lives in order to save Jews. My late grandfather, for nearly half a century following the war, carried a picture in his pocket every day of the French priest who saved him and my grandmother.

pope pius stole thousands of jewish children and forcibly converted them to catholicism, under the pretence of protecting them form the nazis. that makes him a saint of the catholic church. if that is not the case, why has the vatican not yet released the documents which would identify those children and allow them to freely choose to return to their jewish origins? and "stealing jewish souls" is a very legitimate "obstacle to dialogue between jews and the catholic church"!!!
