The polls show that there were less tourists coming to Israel Have the offical dearments attampted to enquire why?? Are these officals doing anything to rectify the catasrophy. The politician really have no interest as to the drop.It does not enlarge the perks of the different depts. Israel is very expensiive to most countries around the Mediterian.Israel is the most disrespectful of all the other nations.Israel shows it is not interested and does not appeal to foreigners,Israel only disappoints people who are here for pleasure with the religious junk.

market that and ease the prices. Dont try to sell yoursleves as a Sexual haven for the depraved and the marginal. You are not party central. You are the LAND OF ISRAEL. Thats who you are...Lower your prices and sell the idea of Israel as the HOLYLAND.

about religion or atleast in some part about it. the fall in tourism reflects the economy as there was a fall in all travel. also probably many Christians have avoided coming as the religious sites they wish to visit are not too safe due to fanatical muslims. Every Jew and Evangelical Christian either wants to go, has gone, and has loved every minute of it when there. I have family members being married there after a marriage ceremony in the US. My family members have been many times and can't wait to go back. It depends on your definition of pleasure #1. Great history, great beaches, great art, great culture, friendly people, good food, then this will be a disappointment for you. Perhaps Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan would be more to your liking

5. 2008 was a record or near-record year, compare to 2007

That the drop is SO low is amazing considering Cast Lead and the global financial crisis. Another story a few weeks ago said that as of the end of October 2009 more tourists visited Israel than during ALL of 2007
