1. kadima
marcel   (12.28.09)
if kadima can join the government in a stable way which is questionnable, then yaalon can replace barak and bibi can get rid of tired labor with their lousy humdrum oslo policies.Barak has a role at defense but politically he is a wimp.Israel's enemies mock him and do not respect him nor do israelis. Whether its turkey or abbas, he repeats yes to peace talks are better than nothing. No, nothing is better than peace talks that lead to nowhere. And yes to turkey which would be a big mistake with antijew spewing arafat erdogan.Direct talks for peace are a better arrangement. Barak should recognize he was a disaster as PM with the wimp beilin as foreign minister. If they were in the forests of byelorussia in 1941, the 1200 jews would have died instead of survived with a fearless smart warrier tuvieh bielski. Barak is not tuvia bielski and next to olmert, beilin is the biggest wimp to ever hit the israeli scene.
2. Suggestion to solve all problems
Sagi   (12.28.09)
An elected MK automatically becomes a Minister. Each one has a Volvo and a bodyguard and chambers with a secretary and unlimited trips abroad. No more need for horse trading and coalition agreements. I am sure that we the electorate will condone this as a viable solution to our cocked up electoral system and strange, nay unique, ways of forming a Government. After all we have agreed on all the absurd outcomes of our elections from day one up till now so lets proceed with the circus.
3. how many ministers this gov needs???
ghostq   (12.28.09)
I don't like the sound of no oppostion, cause kadima is the only one who can balance something, theother lefties r huge joke. don't get me wrong I don't like the spinless kadima, but this gov got too many ministers on tax money excpence and it won't do any good to make gove any gov right or left with no oppostion. that's democracy one on one, and not what happend in the USA they got no oppotion and the leberals took over entire companies so they can have limited funding, in the USA it's pure dictatorship. and that includes exploiting pop cultur and media to get political support.
4. oops #3 unlimited funding.
ghostq   (12.28.09)
oh need to stop typing so fast and getting E-mails in the same time.
5. What about the citizens ?
Michel ,   jerusalem   (12.28.09)
I hope that at last ALL these ministers will subsidize the Israeli population..
6. No problem! Livni can have more ministers
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (12.28.09)
at taxpayers expense. Afterall, who gives a damn about the taxpayers? When will Israelis rise up against this tyranny? It should be clear by now that there is no true democracy in Israel. The majority of MKs in the Knesset are appointees, and not elected by the people.
7. Netenyahu yielding to Livni to get rid of Lieberman
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (12.28.09)
Soon lieberman will be shown the way out. In fact it is now turned out Mofaz's recent rebuke agains Livni was negative to Livni's negotiation power against Netenyahu to get more Ministiries. IN any Case soon Livni will be foreign minister, Mofaz will became Minister for Transportation again, his long longing lucrative benefice
8. Netanyahu out of control
Steve ,   San Francisco   (12.28.09)
He power ploys have two aims: To keep himself as PM, and 2) To enable him to kowtow to the Americans and their demands for a Palestinian state. I am no fear monger, but obviously Netanyahu is leading Israel to a very dangerous place.
