This entire episode regarding PiusXII is further evidence that the current administration in Rome has no concern for Jews.
2. This article proves no need to open archives...

...right? It claims irrefutable evidence. So stand behind that evidence and convince others of its veracity and stop badgering the Vatican about their archives. It's none of your business anyway. After all, the evidence claimed above is true and factual right? The only reason to keep bugging the Vatican is if the story presented above is actually full of holes and the real goal is to go on a fishing expedition through another religion's archives. Open all occupation related archives to the world so we can see them if you want to do something worthwhile. After all this sainthood stuff is just mythology anyway. The belligerent occupation is HERE AND NOW.

Who cares!!!!? Saying that the chucrh considers someone a saint who was evil to the Jews is right in line with Jesus. He did come to cast a fire on the earth, burn up chaff, turn brother against brother, be a fisherman of Jewish souls. to bring war with his message not peace (Check the new testament that confirms everything I say) Lets not ignore that the spirits he cast out lifting the curses off of Jewish brothers, He later admitted it returned and brought back ten more spirits making the cursed Jewish brother that much more cursed and more evil. It is ok that they promote this because when the revelation of this being connected to the curses and false prophet of Torah is heard (and it will be heard) It will make it that much more effective the humiliation of those who kneeled under the cuses. Torah and One G-d. Allways ruling.

Who are these “Jewish leaders” and “Jewish groups” who always seem to appear whenever Pius XII is mentioned? For whom do they speak? And since they know perfectly well that the plain facts of history are against them, what are their real agenda? Pius the Righteous Gentile, praised by Moshe Sharrett, had far warmer relations with Israel than have of necessity prevailed between that State and the Vatican since, several years after his death, the invasion and occupation of the West Bank, as well as regular attacks on Lebanon. I feel that we are starting to see the point, aren’t we? None of this is really about Pius at all. It cannot be – just look at the facts. Rather, it is about the West Bank, Lebanon, Israel’s actions towards them, and the Holy See’s pastorally inescapable attitude to those actions. The beatification and canonisation of Pius XII would send exactly the right signal in that particular direction (by no means the only one or the most important): if you care about Israel, and if you therefore want her to have warmer relations with the Vatican, then consider that she did have them in the reign of this great Pope, and ask yourselves why. If you want good relations with the Papacy, then imposing military law on the West Bank and bombarding Lebanon are not the best ways of going about it. What’s that you say? “Jordan is Palestine”? Quite so. Jordan as created at the end of the British Mandate. Which is to say, including the West Bank. There has never been a state with its border at the Jordan, and the populations on either Bank are one people. The answer to the question of why anyone ever designed a country so short of water as Jordan is, is that no one ever did. The creation of a Palestinian State in the West Bank would be the end of the Hashemite Kingdom: the pressure for incorporation into that State would be irresistible. That, rather than the destruction of Israel, would be the great national aspiration. And then, following its rapid and its largely (if not entirely) bloodless achievement, that would be the great national triumph.

Dear Dr. Dwork and Rabbi Greenberg, I would like to correct the misinformation your article is reporting. When I was invested with Papal honors I used this position to enable better relations, both political and cultural, between the Vatican and Israel. Pave the Way brought the manuscripts of Maimonides to Israel, we directly dealt with tourism problems, we also helped to move the fundamental agreements along with many other non-theological issues. Our intention has been to oppose anti-Semitism from within the church and anti-Catholic feelings among the Jewish people. We identified the papacy of Pope Pius XII as one of the most important issues causing great hurt between Catholics and Jews. Using my position of trust, I sought to uncover documents that have never been seen before. I personally spent two years studying this issue before asking the Pave the Way board to initiate this document retrieval project. I realized that it was the group of historical revisionist, beginning with the fictitious play The Deputy who changed the worldwide Israeli and Jewish perception of Pope Pius XII. You are correct I am not an historian. However, Pave the Way has enlisted historians of the caliber of Sir Martin Gilbert and many others to help us with this work. We held our symposium in 2008 to bring the critics and defenders together. All of the important institutions and critics of Pius XII were invited to attend but chose to boycott the symposium and then call it “one sided.” The Campagna documents you refer to were only recently discovered and represent a very small part of the evidence we uncovered from several countries. What the documents did show, according to Prof. Paul O’shea’s report, is that Pius XII directly sent financial support to the diocese on multiple occasions specifically for the care of the Jews being protected. They also showed that war time documents everyone is so anxious to see can be retrieved from multiple sources and many countries outside the Vatican Archives. To correct your statement Dr Dwork, it was Pope Benedict XVI who ordered the opening of all of the Archives up to 1939. Strangely, almost none of the institutions, or historians, ever bothered to go to Rome to study these documents according to the Vatican sign in sheets. Apparently, you have simply refused to look at the documents or listen to the eyewitness testimonies we have discovered. Dr. Dwork, what is your opinion of Msgr Ferrofino’s interview on our website? Your unfortunate misrepresentation of our attempt to solve a problem and reveal what we have found is just a small example of how those we trust for historical truth have simply developed a theory and will do whatever is necessary to support it. As a historian I would imagine you should cherish every scrap of information we have uncovered rather than condemn our efforts to find and publish them. I challenge both of you to assemble an open public forum where the critics can face the defenders. It will be a requirement for everyone to bring their proof. We have thousands of documents and eyewitness testimonies to support our position. I am very anxious to share the information we have uncovered with the world. Shortly, we will be publishing in four languages a 288 page book titled Pope Pius XII and World War II, The Documented Truth. I will be forwarding a copy to each of you when they are printed. Let the people be the judge. Finally Rabbi Greenberg, never discourage anyone who seeks the truth, which is the “road” Pave the Way is going down. Please let me quote a Rabbi I so deeply admire. Rabbi Moses Ben Maimon, Maimonides “Truth does not become more true by virtue of the fact that the entire world agrees with it, nor less so even if the whole world disagrees with it.“ Moreh Nevuchim 2:15
