The last thing the Iranian people need is for the govmt. to have evidence that Israel is encouraging the rebellion. You tread on thin ice on this issue for Iranians when you use it for your own internal political and egotistical purposes.

I am sick and tired of the mozzle clerics wanting to put their version of "freedom" into my news network. Can I ban bearded goats from putting edicts against free grass in my pasture? Only last week the clerics wanted me to print a story and pictures about how free Iranians loved to riot in the streets, stand in front of firing squads, and willingly submit to Iranian Guard rape. Me oh my-- what on earth shall I do?

There is a dearth of reliable information in Iran, but no shortage of rumor. Iranians, and secretly even the leadership, rely on Western news to get objective facts about the outside world and even internal reports that are unavailable at home. I suspect Iranians will keep on listening to BBC Persia, just like Khomeini did during the Islamic Revolution.
