What about the murderers of Dorit Benisian and Yuval Abebeh, two toddlers from Sderot killed by Hamas rockets? (these are just two examples, there are many more killed and injured severely losing a limb or worse). There are two sides of this conflict. Before there was a cast lead the Hamas rockets were killing children as I gave examples. Any government and their leaders would have to do something about it. It is not easy but when the WTC in NY was attacked USA had to intervene against Taleban. When Hamas attacks Israel daily Israeli leaders also have to take difficult measures to defend their population. This is not a crime, it is a duty.

BUT anybody can prepare a document calling for the arrest of anybody else on an allegation of War Crime- I can even get a Warrant of Arrest against sc of Arnhem.The Arab briefed Lawyers are now issuing these docs against any Israeli they feel like! . The UK Crown Prosecution Service(CPS) NORMALY receives a docket from the UK Police about the Police investigation regarding say a burglar. The CPS then decides whether to prosecute or not . It decides if it is in the Public Interest to do so ,If it feels it isnt in Public interest it does not and doesnt have to give a reason! So if its an Israeli General who has come to help UK Army with advice on how to fight in Afghan Terror War or Livni comes to negociate about peace -is it in Public Interest to lock him/her up till some trial sometime in future because someone feels like it ? Even a low rank Magistrate-NOT THE CPS , can order the subject of the Warrant to be locked up till some date in the future when he/she can be brought to trial.If its in UK Public Interest OR NOT. I am not saying hamas are innocent , there are indeed two sides to every story , but hamas leaders were not invited to the uk to start with so it is irrelevant. If hamas had arrest warrants and didnt come to the uk i would say the same about them. I dont want to get into a huge israel versus hamas argument, or vice versa , i am not on either side . I t would be nice to see a peaceful solution to all the hatred asap. However thew point that yuo are missing is that self defense is not a crime. When Hamas was launching rockets from Gaza to Israel , killing babies such as Dorit Benisian and Yuval Abebeh, maiming innocent civilians in SAderot and disrupting daily life there comes a time when it is the duty of the Israeli leadership to do something defensive about it. Just like USA trying to eliminate Al kaida from this world after 9/11. Any case brought to the courts for leaders of a country in the instance of self defense is frivolous, political and ill intentioned.
