Truth Hertz ,   UK   (01.06.10)
The main enemy of the people of Aza is the Hamas mafia gang.
7. No such thing as "hungry" muslims.
Brad ,   USA   (01.06.10)
Guess what? Muslims are well fed. Peace activists are just more trouble makers, using someone else's money. There are not only "five" brain dead "palestinians. That's it.

the Arab occupiers of the Jewish land of Israel.

the clashes took its toll from the Muslim brothers. Muslim kills Muslim with no Jew involved. Go, Go Israel!, from victory to victory till final defeat.

Rehavam ,   Israel   (01.06.10)
15. Zany Gazanians
Dan ,   Titusville, FL USA   (01.06.10)
Palestinians have perennially been the sand slaves of Islamic countries. Rather than ship in humanitarian aid, Islamic nations send in weapons to further escalate tensions with Israel and slaughter more innocents. It is high time that this stopped and the Gazanians should be protesting against Hamas that keeps them starving, ignorant and on the very edge of life.
16. Sharon in 2005: "Palestinians need to be put on a diet"
Nour ,   Palestine   (01.06.10)
Lest we forget. It's good to put things in perspective. "Submit to our demands, or we'll starve you to death". Diabolical blackmail of the first order, and implemented with distinction. I'm not a fan of Hamas, but Fatah has sealed its reputation as occupation sub-contractor. Basic stuff know to everyone now, ie. Occupation 101.
17. Hamas Gaza
kevin john lee ,   Glasgow/Scotland/UK   (01.06.10)
When! oh when, did the actions taken by Hamas! in Gaza, were deemed to be Democratic! most countries in the west are taking actions,to ensure that other countries are ensured a right to be democratic.Yet !Gaza they encourage Hamas, and condemn Israel.confusing you bet! kjl.
18. Brad, you are another of Israel's PR problems...
BBSNews ,   Charlotte, NC   (01.06.10)
...outright lying about the dire humanitarian situation, particularly in Gaza, makes you look like a monster. Do you understand Brad that by acting that way, by ignoring that fully 90% of Gazas depend on UN handouts to survive, by even denying that a crisis exists when it clearly does as has been reported by every major human rights organization, the World Bank, the IMF, the US State Department and even the President of the United States recognizes there is a crisis and yet you come here and lie, and therefor you have become part of Israel's PR problem. Of course that problem will exist until the illegal occupations are ended, it's never been about PR, it's about Israel's actions. However, people like you are giving Israel a bad image across the world for all those who stop in to take a look. The New York Times noted it yesterday, quoting one of the wingnuts comments directly in a news story. When you lie you cheapen Israel's image. Do you not care at all?.
19. Dan in FLA, yet another Israel PR problem and liar...
BBSNews ,   Charlotte, NC   (01.06.10)
...with your "sand slaves" malarkey. With your continual lying, it is those like you who are helping to create Israel's PR problem. Israel is the legal Occupier of the Gaza Strip. Ask them, they will tell you. The problem is, Israel does not live up to it's obligations under customary international law and provide for those it occupies. In fact, Israel has made it an official policy to "tighten the Gazans belts" - I'm fairly sure Richard Goldstone also noted that fact. When people like you deny reality, you are hurting Israel. There are 1.5 million Gazans. Maybe 15,000 militants. Punishing 99% of a captive population is illegal under international human rights law. By not recognizing that fact, also makes you a monster of a PR problem. You and those like you, who attempt to defend the indefensible are enemies to Israel's future if the country is ever going to grow up, take responsibility, and become a real democracy instead of the fractionally ruled, quasi-militant separatist theocracy that it currently is.
20. How do you know when Hamas is lying? When their mouths move.
Nemesis   (01.06.10)
21. BBS = BS
Eyal ,   USA   (01.06.10)
Let me remind you that when we (Israel) left Gaza, the Palestinians had the whole strip to do what they please, such as: International trading, build their economy, their streets, road, buildings, create more jobs and so forth, but instead your brothers and sisters chose to buy with International money, moneys of the Palestinian people rockets, guns in order to terrorize Israel and lets not forget the incitement. This was the Palestinian choice and had nothing to do with occupation (as you call it), cause we left (even though we were still enemies. If I recall, Hamas said the Israelis left because Hamas was beating the enemy (Israel) and that is why Israel left. BBS, you are an idiot, with the same brain as your brothers and sisters. You asked for the blockade when you started and continued to shoot rockets at innocent civilians (women, children and men) in Israel and only then we created a blockade. Lets not forget the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit. Now eat it sucker.
22. BBSNews one question
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (01.06.10)
The US has occupied Cuba for the past 112 years now. How much food, water, fuel, power and medicine has your country given Cubans? Oh wait for the past 51 years now YOUR country has had a total embargo on all Cuban imports and exports. Why don't you teach us about that morality?
23. BullShitNews, who makes a living lying to tarnish Israel
Nemesis   (01.06.10)
You lie about Israel every day, on every Israeli talkback (that's what you and your jihadi friends do, use western freedoms to support jihad against the west) and then you have the gall to accuse others of denying the truth. No-one is starving in Gaza, as you know very well, and all I ask is that you answer this simple question: if in the whole of the Gaza strip there was one underweight child - not malnourished, just underweight - wouldn't his picture already be on more t-shirts than Che Guevara's face? If it isn't, BullShitNews, it's because your friends in Hamas can't find such a child!
24. More like cry of the greedy Hamas
William ,   Israel   (01.06.10)
The steel fence won't block food shipments, which mostly come through crossings with Israel as humanitarian aid. The fence will block the import of weapons, viagra, car parts, and zoo animals. What it really will affect is Hamas' ability to wage war, the increasing of pressure on Hamas by Gazans to improve their situation, and Hamas' massive decline in ill-gotten taxation. This is the real reason Hamas is pushing the riots, not hunger (as if we didn't see the full food stalls in the open markets)
25. they have a government they voted for, responsible for their

welfare.
26. "Israel is still our main enemy"
William ,   Israel   (01.06.10)
"but now we have a growing list of 'secondary' enemies"
27. #5 - That's not really true - many hungry Muslims
William ,   Israel   (01.06.10)
They just happen to be in African countries, and are highly abused and exploited by their Muslim brothers of Arab descent.
28. #11 - But Muslims used the tactic many times in history
William ,   Israel   (01.06.10)
Have you forgotten the Arab siege of Jerusalem designed to starve Jews of food and water, right before they ethnically cleansed the eastern part of the city of ALL Jews? I agree with you - this shows no bravery, but equally neither does blowing one's self up among civilians, which even Pakistanis seem to support as "resistance".
29. :: Gee - #22
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (01.06.10)
I am not speaking for BBSNews when I say this (BBSNews is more than capable for showing you for the fool you are): Firstly the occupation of a small part of Cuba and the American embargo is wrong. Secondly, unlike Israel, America is not waging war and killing innocent Cubans, neither has America turned Cuba into a prison island when only the barest of humanitarian aid is allow in. Thirdly and most importantly these is no comparison to Israel’s total imprisonment and starvation of the people of Gaza and the people of Cuba. Gee you dare speak of ‘morality’ and use a totally lame comparison. You have no concept of acceptable ‘morality’ as enshrined in International Law. At best you are simply a minor Jewish racist, tell me Gee: Why do you hate non-Jews so much? Is it your upbringing, did you go to a religiously run ‘school? Why is it that you think an entire populace should be collectively punished?
30. #18 - If that were true, explain billions in $$ in Gaza
William ,   Israel   (01.06.10)
If 90% are on food aid, please explain how smuggling tunnels are being valued at a whopping $186,000 per DAY. That's well over a billion dollars of cash floating around in Gaza, and the items smuggled in by those very families claiming food aid are non-food essentials - viagra, car parts, cooking gas (since Hamas seizes most petroleum imports by Israel). You know - this problem was never in Gaza before Hamas took control and put a brutal regime in place, the same that steals humanitarian aid and sells it to the very citizens it claims to represent, protect. At the end of Cast Lead, several older Gazans reminisced about the "good old days" before Hamas when Israel totally occupied Gaza, and residents not only had basic services, healthcare, and food stuffs, but no obstacles to traveling to the other end of Israel whenever they wanted. Everytime you speak, you cheapen your own image...which is squarely built on a slanted agenda of manipulation of information.
