1. So we should go via Taba and the ferry
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (01.12.10)
Ok so one plan is to route them via Taba early in the morning, let them use the ferry and then return to Israel as planned (either direct or via Taba). This way it is not Jordan that gets the extra money but Egypt.
2. to #1 instead of dealing with the problem
ghostq   (01.13.10)
you try to bypass it in elusive way that's really no helfull, cause you hid the problem under the rug, imaging you live in building and there is securiting guard in the lobby, you don't want to pay for the servise so you enter through the window? instead of looking for cheaper security service. you just looking for excuses not to deal with the problem, cause not every problem you can ignor or bypass.
3. BOYCOTT JORDAN.
ED ,   beitlehem, usa   (01.13.10)

4. Stay in Israel
Jo Guy ,   Jerusalem   (01.13.10)
There are plenty of way nicer things to see here in Israel. Petra is boring, expensive, and full of arabs...wish I could get that day back of my life and my pocketbook.
5. thrifty israelies
hanzalahnaji   (01.13.10)
israeli tourist go to jordan carrying his food and water, doesnt spend any penny except entrance fees, even tips doesnt pay, also jordanian hotels as europe hotels dont like israel tourist because of theft small things like towels, the only way jordan can make money from tourist is through increasing entrance fees.
6. #5 And how many $ does Israel see from Jordanian tourists?
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (01.14.10)
Ok then, Mr. ungrateful. If you have so many complaints about Israeli tourists, then no problem. We'll stop coming and stop paying your outrageous entry fees. We'll also stop importing your fruits, we'll close down all the many factories we opened in your country, and, we'll stop giving you water. I wonder how badly your already-crumbling economy would deteriorate without us. By the way, how many dollars does Israel see annually from Jordanian tourists, care to answer?
7. TO# 6
HANZALAHNAJI   (01.14.10)
Ask your embassy in amman if they give visa for jordanian to visit israel, and there is a lot want t come and tour in there root land, u know jordan is 85% palestinian imigrants who been expelled from plalestine in 1948, a lot want to see the place of there destroyed villages, about fruits and factories, remenber that the regime and government is giving u a favor by this, through jordan u r gaining a lot by passing the products to Arab wealthy gulf countries, u r living on our account, taking our land and in the same time feeding u, the water of jordan river is our water, its coming from palestinian tiberias and before that from the golan mountains and banias, so learn and know about what u r talking, it will not stay dark foreever, sun will rise, its a must.

9. #6 Tahl
Said ,   Amman, Jordan   (01.14.10)
Considering that Jordanians of Palestinian origin wanting to visit their friends and family in the West Bank are usually treated like shit by some bored 19 year old at the crossing, not many dollars.
10. anyone smell discrimination and hate
arthur ,   jersey city usa   (01.17.10)
Good thing they are our peace friends. This simply stinks. Jews and Israelis should reject this outright. Of course reciprocal tourism has been officially discouraged by jordan, just like egypt does. remember this is an official gov't act by jordan
11. Needless
timur ,   Amman, Jordan   (03.14.10)
Tourism between both countries should be encouraged. What surprises me most that there were no plans to raise the rates for those coming from Taba. This really angered me. Okay, we do not profit from it, but at least we would have people visiting. And those people might come back again later, or recommend it to acquaintances. Honestly, I am appalled.
