Were named righteous amongst the Nations in 1972 by Yad Vashem , they deserved it 1000 % . The Anne Frank diary has told many people what it was to be a Jew in those days , hiding this diary was also a great contribution from this Lady . The Anne Frank museum exist 50 years this may , had more than 24 million visitors , just under 1 million in 2009 and 2008 .

It's really heartening to see that this courageous woman lived to such a ripe old age....especially after reading about far too many unregenerate Nazis who live into their 90's and then die peacefully in their sleep. Rest in peace, Mies Giep. Your legacy of brave deeds will live on.

I'm so glad she saved Anne's Diary. In my area, school girls usually read Anne's Diary. What an impact that diary has had on quite a few generations of girls.... who grow up to be women and re-read it.

it seems her life and death have captured the imagination of the world , juding by the coverage today. She risked her life , not once, but thousands of times to protect those whom the world has forgotten You can learn more by visiting the "Anne Frank +You" exhibition currently in Westminster for all of January , where thousands of young people are fascinated and inspired by this remarkable woman who saved Anne Franks diary for mankind .
