1. Iran really is getting desperate
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.13.10)
Let's see -- they are likely responsible for murdering one of their own scientists; they have taken out one of their Hizbollah operatives in Lebanon, and they are quite likely behind the increased violence from both Hamas and non-Hamas terrorist elements in Gaza. They really are running scared. Of course, no one believes that the United States or Israel are behind these ham-handed and unsubtle actions. What's next -- a spontaneous demonstration with all manner of angry Iranians, waving banners and shaking their firsts and shouting anti-United States and anti-Israel invective? Frankly -- internal dissension in Iran being what it is, Iran would have to pay any such "demonstrators," and might actually have to resort to ordering government toadies and their families to take part. The Islamic Revolution appears to have run its course. The Iranian government certainly has resorted to desperate measures, but it won't help and Iran has fooled no one.

pathetic, but this does not rate Ynet's lead stories. Thanks Ynet, you allow a nation to forget its obligations to the living
