You have completely missed the point. "Charitable" organizations are, by definition, not-for-profit. The point was that they used funds provided by the Canadian government to push issues that the Canadian government deemed to be reprehensible, i.e., support of terror and promoting an agenda which calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. The next step, a la United States, will be to revoke their not-for-profit status. That means that contributions made to these organizations will no longer be tax-exempt, and the organizations themselves will be required to pay federal, provincial and city taxes. The financial transactions of these organizations will also come under very close scrutiny for illegal practices, which will result in seizure of all their assets. Fines will be assessed and the leadership may face prison terms for fraud and tax evasion. In short -- look for these scurrilous so-called "charitable" organizations to disappear. That's what happened in the United States, that is what will happen in Canada and in many other western nations. The Palestinians have gambled and lost. Every nation that matters knows exactly what they are all about.
