Doubtful. The Islamic Republic of Iran is responsible. Iran is desperate and terrified. They have done their utmost to provoke Israel, using (i) Hamas and other terrorist elements in Gaza, (ii) Hizbollah, (iii) Syria, (iv) Turkey (v) Jordan, and has even (vi) murdered their own particle physicist. It hasn't worked. Israel has not been provoked and has acted to defuse every situation engineered by Iran. Israel's attention has not been deflected in the least. The Iranians are rank amateurs.
