32. Pathetic!
Talula ,   Israel   (01.20.10)
Stop trying to catapult yourself to divine status. The whole world is shocked and saddened by what happened in Haiti - and Israelis are so very proud of the rescue teams and doctors who went there to actually help the stricken and desperate. That's what you call love for another human being - not starting a class with a prayer. Praying is a pointless contribution in any situation - hands-on assistance or a beefy contribution to the Haiti Earthquake Fund wins, hand-down, everytime.
33. Haiti, the worst thing for Gazans - why?
israel   (01.20.10)
Because it makes Gaza look like a holiday camp - and compared to Haiti, looks like Gazan's have got it pretty good.

First I would like to say that my best wishes go out to you Lawrence. I understand that Israel seems to have the weight of the world on it's shoulders but God will not abandon you no matter how bad things get. I had no intention of attacking you by saying you had little love. In your first post you yourself said that you reserved your love and like money there was not enough to go around. I wanted to point out that God has plenty of love to go around. I feel for the poor Hatians and I most certainly feel for Israel. I will always be on Israels side. To be against Israel is to be against God. God bless you and all of Israel.

from my book god say --when the people are in the see and there are a big storm they fear the death and pray aske the god for escape and when they are safe on the shore they forget the same god they asked before ..... one day a man asked mohammad the profet ...may i can do the haj instead of my mother that she was dead .. profet asked.do yoy do it fore yourselfe he said no . profet say do it fore yourselfe first it means when the disastor was fromthe nature we have only the god to help but after this we must remember that there was a god to help this is about rabi prayer .. but sure god aske to do the pray to the selfe worshipp fore evry moment in evry case on evry land . we need god here and their in war and in peace . with storms or without storms .. even in paradise they pray and thank god fore his mercy
40. Rabbi unaware that Jews give more to Gentile charities
shneerhere   (01.21.10)
at the expense of Jewish charities. So the Red Cross and United Way and other charities have significant Jewish donors, the most per capita of any ethnic group!, while Jewish charities are in crises mode, downsizing services and cutting funds to everything from meals-on-wheels to senior care and academic scholarships. Jews are the last people on earth who need preaching about Universalism and the need to give, give, give.
41. 13.Lawrence. God wants your love, and bestowed on his
Jae ,   Lynn US   (01.21.10)
remember, as a Jew you have a certain mission & repsonisbility. No less, no more. The end result is the spirual and physical welfare of all mankind. Get your head out of the ghetto.
42. "for the sake of saving the hundreds of thousands "
Josh   (01.21.10)
Are you saying that your prayer will save them? What arrogance!!!! How do we believe G-d will listen to you? "There is no resucer lest the hand of Hashem had done it" Honestly, when will Israel get back to the truth. Living in sin and adding illegally to Torah is doing NO ONE a favor. If the paganism that Lawrence mentions is a source for devine punishment, we have a responsibility to the world to be a "Light" and show them Torah and our G-d. Want to help them get rid of a curse, get them to stop angering G-d. Of course we should learn it first. Being full of BS and promoting a non prophet Kook for cult reasons is not spreading Torah. Shmah! Where are the people on the street actually talking about Moses and his words alone? That is the Mitzvah not some worthless magical incantation. Shmah!
