The Arabs have no peace to offer. They have no initiative that leaves a Jewish-majority state. All they are offering is the possibility that they will not engage in terror against Israel and the West, for a limited period of time, if they are offered sufficient bribes (money,territory,freezes) The US needs to ramp up its efforts at finding alternative energy so that the Arabs will go back to their tents without the money for terror weapons.

Israel is not a banana republic, and will not accept "terms", even from the US. The US cannot provide any guarantees as to what a settlement will look like. Nor will Israel accept those demands from Hizbullah-controlled Lebanon.

It is not unreasonable for the Palestinians to expect that Israel keep it previous Road Map commitment to halt all construction in the occupied Palestinian territories, so for the US administration to pressure them rather than hold Israel accountable shows just how weak President Obama truly is, and further reinforces why the US should step aside from the peace process and let others take over where they have continually failed. Israel might actually have demands which the Palestinians might have to meet. They might have to contribute something positive. They might not get everything they want without having to make a concession or two. What a freaking nightmare!

I've always found that term to be oxymoronic.. There is a tiny bit of history that always seem to be overlooked.
