I feel sorry for the poor students who will get degrees unrecognized by the outside world. They will have to compete with graduates of real universities like Oxford, Yale, Hebrew U. etc. Of course they will be given work on the West Bank or get compensation for their suffering, but international academic recognition is most unlikely.

Mutual International Academic recognition of degrees has to do with the quality of teaching not political issues. Where and when has it ever done before? What they are talking about here is non-cooperation in research with this University, it has nothing to do with degrees awarded there if they institute this Israel can retaliate by not recognizing degrees from those Universities participating in the boycott, at heir great loss of both research knowledge and not being able to work in the most advanced Israeli Academic institutions or having jobs in Israel highly sought after industries
