You wrote: "if they couldn't prevent them from losing their religious identity they send them to unknown destination(hint got something to do with sibiria)." Not only Siberia. Maybe you'll find it interesting what I'm going to say. I've just read something, I didn't even know before. During the partition of Poland, large part of Polish land got under tsarist Russia's rule. Russian authorities were not the biggest fans of the Jewish people. During 19th century, when they wanted to get rid of Jews from the Russia proper - and they re-settled them to the former Polish territories. That was one of the reasons, why so many Jews lived in Poland before WW2 (particularly in the eastern part of the country) .

I hope that many Jewish people will read this article. Young Poland of 21st century is no longer antisemitic - I'm so proud of Jewish influence on culture of my country and I'm so happy to see the rebirth Jewish comunities here! Not only me, every single open-minded and educated person here does, Poland is not a cementery, it's a country where both nations have been living since 10th century, and we continue to - I wish there where even more mutual cooperation and understanding... Good luck and Shalom!

People are talking to each other instead of screaming at each other. It's a nice change of pace. ghostq, you can use Google to automatically translate a web page or block of text from Polish into English. Go to: http://www.google.com/language_tools The Polish/English translations include a lot of mistakes, but it is usually possible to understand the main points.
