The borders of Israel are the following: The Sinai Negev Line running south from Gaza to Eilat. You can see it on a map. The line running through the arava from Eilat north and through the Dead Sea, then north of the area of through the Jordan valley where pre-1967 Israel bordered on Jordan These borders were established by treaty between Israel and Egypt and with Jordan. The northern border with Lebanon is a defacto border recognized by both countries even though it has not been established dejure by treaty. Only question is Rajah which is under discussion now with the U.N. There is no border on the east with the PA or with Jordan. Jordan recognizes it's western border north of the Dead Sea as being along the Jordan Valley. These are the only recognized borders of Israel. The green line is not a border and never was. If you read the armistice agreements signed in 1949 you will find that they state specifically that the ceasefire lines were not meant to be borders which were supposed to be negotiated between the parties. This eventually happened with Egypt and Jordan. So to answer your implied question - there is no internationally recognized border between Israel and the PA. Nor with Gaza for that matter.

It is an ongoing battle but the simple undeniable fact is that it was the Jews who drained the swamps and turned the desert into fields as the land was barren and unmanaged.
