Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (02.01.10)
forums for young recruits plus occasional counselling throughout one's service would possibly benefit the Israeli military and significantly decrease the cases of abuse in whatever form it occurs. The commanders are correct in saying that abuse can never be completely eradicated as it's a genral human condition which has always taken place in every society. Furthermore, IDF personnel may be especially suseptible due to the constant pressures imposed on them due to the continuous need to enforce security measures plus the youthful age of the recruits.
