If we had done something like that. The entire world would claim that we were violating some so-called international law.
2. "a significant proportion .... are of Palestinian origin"
Rebecca ,   Modiin   (02.01.10)
70% I think. No wonder they are revoking their citizenship. Jordon does not want these people either. They've become too dependent on handouts, and not enough dependent on doing something for themselves.
3. This is just tip of the iceberg - where is HRW?
William ,   Israel   (02.01.10)
How is it that the HRW appears now with a comment on Jordan's rescinding citizenship of "palestinians" but has largely remained silent on the purposeful abuse of "palestinians" in the Arab world where citizenship is kept from them, including the rights that go along with it. In the refugee camps in S. Lebanon, terror groups fight turf wars and people inside the camps can't leave, can't buy property, can't work certain jobs, etc. And the NGO are SILENT!! The only way to fix this for the benefit of these humans is extend immediate and unequivocal citizenship to each "pal" refugee by the current host country.

You have no idea what you're talking about. the Palestinian played the great role in developing Jordan Economically and technologically. If you read (anything), you would know how inaccurate you are.
5. 80% of Jordan are "palestinians". British import King Abdull
Jae ,   LYnn US   (02.01.10)
Abdullah (his family the Husseini's are from Mecca), is scared!! Rightly so, as his kingdom lies on 78% of the land of the palestine mandate!! His kingdom is also home to 80% palestinian majority! Furhtermore he and his family were imported from Mecca by the colonial occuoying power- Great Britain in 1920. He's not even a native so he must be getting fidgety. I wish him well in Spain or Arabia when he and his family flee to their billion dollar wealth. They will still live like kings. The responsible thing to do would be to return Jordan to palestine, thereby returning the palestine mandate into something practical- an Arab and a Jewish state.
6. Israel- SPEAK UP! Give the world a pragmatic alternative!
Jae ,   LYnn US   (02.01.10)
The colonialist occupying power Great Britiain conveniently (sarcasm) imported from Mecca the royalty governing Jordan today; These non nativeHashemites, this monarchy, is destined to politically wither on the vine as a result of ruling an 80% majority population of palestinians in Jordan! Abdullah (his family, the Husseini's, are from Mecca), is scared!! Rightly so, as his kingdom lies on 78% of the land of the palestine mandate!! 2+2=4 people. The land, the people are palestinian, but the ruler is not. Specifically, his family was imported from Mecca by the colonial occuoying power- Great Britain in 1920. He's not even a native so he must be getting fidgety. I wish him well in Spain or Arabia when he and his family flee to their billion dollar wealth. They will still live like kings. The responsible thing to do would be to return Jordan to palestine, thereby returning the palestine mandate into something practical- an Arab state (in addition to the other 21) and a Jewish state.

2+2=4 people. The land, the people are palestinian, but the ruler is not. Jordan is palestine. Jordan is the 2 state solution.

AND WHEN LIEBERMAN PROPOSE TO REVOKE THE ISRAELI CITZENSHIP OF THE DISLOYAL ARABS THE WORLD SAY THAT IS RACISM SO WILL THE ARABS SAY JORDAN IS RACIST???
10. That doesn't change anything.......
Wise Saba ,   Eretz Yisrael   (02.02.10)
Jordan is still Palestine where over 80% of the population are Palestinians. One of these days they will overthrow the illegal Hasminite rulers.
11. Jordan.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (02.02.10)
Jordan was born of fraud, which it's fated thereafter to prop up via unremitting retroactive repairs to the past — even the distant past. Not too many years back Jordan TV aired a documentary on Jerusalem portraying ancient Jebusites as Arabs. Jordan's population is overwhelmingly Palestinian. The only exceptions are the Beduin who accompanied Abdullah I from Hejaz. Like the Hashemites, they're foreigners. Now these outsiders design to delegitimize the natives. Expectedly, governments and human rights NGOs worldwide are silent. More at : http://xrl.us/omvbu

16. Where was HRW in 1988...
Joe ,   Ramat Gan   (02.02.10)
...when Jordan stripped every West Bank resident of their Jordanian citizenship in an effort to create more "Palestinian refugees"? Selective outrage at its finest...
17. The Hashemite clan that controls Jordan originated in the...
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (02.02.10)
...Hijaz, present day Saudi Arabia!!! I don't suggest that this clan should be stripped of its citizenship and be removed to Saudi Arabia, but I do propose that Amman should be the capital city of the Arabs who reside in the kingdom of Jordan as well as those residing in Samaria and Judea (West Bank). After all, UN Security Council Resolution 242, as is, does not mention at all the setting up of yet another state in the region, nor does it mention concepts such as "Palestinian people" of "Palestinian state". And 242 has been the basis for all peace talks and agreements between Israel and its Arab neighbors to date, as it must continue to be.
18. hahahaha even Arabs don't want them
ghostq   (02.02.10)
who would, it is so funny and ironic. oh well that is what happened when you deal with arab gangs. after all Pali murdered the king's grand father.
19. to #13 cause they r trouble makers
ghostq   (02.02.10)
they tryed to drag Hizb to another war in Israel during cast lead by shooting rockets from the north one hit nursing home in north Israel. they also started shooting the local population in lebanon. I have a feeling Hizb in one point won't like the forigners acting in their teritoryand do as they please, but who cares arab gangs usually act that way.
20. And they call ISRAEL an "Apartheid state"?
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (02.02.10)
I wish that just this once, all Arabists and leftist "intellectuals" who routinely demonize Israel and call it an "Apartheid state" which "oppresses Palestinians" and "denies them basic human rights" - would take a close look at the practices of our Eastern neighbor and admit who the real oppressor is. But of course they wouldn't. No wonder you don't see BBS, Matty, Marco, Mikesailor, Nour, and the rest of these Israel-haters in here...
21. the quiet surrounding this
Ilana   (02.02.10)
is actually full of loud messages. Quiet speaks louder than words at times.

Proud Jordanian ,   Amman   (02.04.10)
according to UNRWA website Palestinians make up 2 millions in Jordan, thats even less than the 43% the Jordanian government declares, where did you come up with this funny number 70% ?? and besides, in the United States Green Card holders can have their greencards withdrawn anytime, even if they do a little crime, same thing inJordan. those Palestinians had their Yellow Cards withdrawn for some issue. so first go ask the USA to stop violating the rights of GreenCard holders then come talk about Jordan.
