The IDF didn't steal their nets, they didn't blow up all of their boats.... what the IDF did was block a growing arms smuggling network that fishermen were part of. Again, if they weren't involved, they wouldn't be blocked. But they did the crime and are the source of their own misery. Ban the fishing fleet from going out, and confiscate any boat that violates the ban. I feel sorry for the fishermen -- I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are civilians who have been unduly pressured by Hamas to set these explosive-laden barrels afloat, but -- well -- the fishermen can choose whom they would rather go up against -- Hamas or Israel.
