31. Palestinian economic success because of Israel
Jo   (02.08.10)
not because of Palestine. Whether Palestine will be able to create a good industry is another matter but saying Israel hinder's Palestine's progress is in this area is wrong. If Palestine did not have Israel as it's neighbour it would not a good economy. Israel's first rate economy influences greatly the progress of Palestine not the reverse. If you are looking for comparisons look at the neighboring countries, Jordan and Egypt are both extremely poor countries , both rely on aid to exist and wages, industry, medical, and the economy are far lower than in Israel or Palestine both. That is the true picture of what Palestine would look like without Israel and that is a choice they will soon have. Their own choices and creativity. It is not bad or good , it just is. Disengage from the Israeli economy and engage your own will very much depend on your own creativity and government. What your country will look like will depend on you. Only then blaming Israel for your woes will not work.
32. Palestine false economy
Josh   (02.08.10)
without international aid it would not stand up at all. No State can do well that needs international aid to pay it's goverement salaries. no matter how those on these tailbacks blame Israel ( we have no ports, no borders of our own, under occupation etc etc) the point this article shows is what the economy is now (under occupation with massive aid) and what it will be ( with no massive aid, dependant on taxes of it's people, industry created by it's goverement etc) is a looming question. Israel is a first world country, Palestine will not be so. If in sixty years it is, then congratulations, but expecting it to be anything like Israel is an illusion. My friend Jo is right. Palestine is more likely to be something more like Jordan or Egypt in economy (more likely Jordan) and struggling for many years until it can prove itself. And that will depend on it's government alone. Israel is both an asset and a setback in it's development as the countries are two closely enmeshed making it difficult to divide. And so different in economy and expectations too.
33. Nos 29 & 30

Yes there has been a spate of impostors which started with Genuine Tosefta & Birdi conspiring to impersonate the likes of BBSNews etc (see no. 27 for an example of this fakery). As long as there are impostors pretending to be left leaning posters there will be people pretending to be Sarah, William, Cynthia, Robert, Eitan, etc. The only way to resolve this matter is for the original people to stop impersonating the left leaning posters = failure to do so will only lead to escalation. It is your choice, we don’t mind either way.
34. Arab economic miracle
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.08.10)
Take a thriving agricultural concern that not only produced sufficient crops to feed the local population, but also a large surplus for export. Tear it down the ground and take the parts to create rockets to murder the civilians that provided you with jobs because you were too lazy or stupid to create your own. Then whine because you are hungry and the people that you attempted to murder shoot back. The is a condensed summary of the Arab 'economic miracle'.
