Here are the facts which you (and the Guardian) have conveniently ingored: 1) The doctor who took these organs did so for humanitarian reasons only. He did so to save lives of Jews and arabs alike. He took from Arab and Jewish bodies alike. 2) Israeli Arabs and "palestinians" were major recipients of these organs. Does it matter that a Jewish doctor saved someone's life if the organ went from Arab to Arab? 3) The doctor acted completely outside Israeli medical rules and was punished hard for it. This shows such a thing is not legal nor tolerated in Israel. Because of such action, Israel is re-thinking their policies on organ donations to fill the need for transplants. Equally, Iran is re-looking at their policies on organ donations for the same reason - even paying families to donate from their deceased relative (how sick!!).
