Olmerts speech and his "offer" to the palestinians is in line with Barak, Sharon, and Bibi too (he just doesnt know it himself yet). For the past 10+ years everyone, the 80% majority right and left (excluding the 10% fringe on both sides) know what a final settlement looks like. Yes there may be variations but at the end of the day we are simply waiting for a Palestinian leader to "publically" accept.

We know what must be done. We know what we must do to regain moral credibility. We must marginalize the extremists in our midst and make the vital decision for peace. If we want our Israel to ever be safe we must return the occupied territories and not use Palestinians lesser abilities as an excuse for lethargy. Such malaise and rumor mongering and the very air in our Israel now is much like it was in 1966. If the extremists among us win, we will lose our Israel.

#9 Dov. Speak for yourself. Maybe you're are waiting for a "Palestinian" leader to "accept" Jerusalem and Israel's heartland to sign a piece of paper. You share this position with Labor and Meretz. But, have you noticed, Dov, Labor and Meretz are going extinct. The vast majority of Israelis reject the mad "land for peace" theory. That is the main reason why Labor and Meretz are going extinct. Most Israelis have too much sense to embrace this dangerous rubbish.

Anyone who calls Ehud Olmert "very brave and right" likely has a few screws lose. In Olmert's last few months in power, he was down to low single digit support levels. Even among the 2% or so who still supported Olmert, few would be likely to claim he is "brave". Only the extreme left still uses the ridiculous language of "saving Israel" through sacraficing Judea and Samaria. I strongly suspect this poster is a leftist extremist pretending to be a Rabbi. When Israel advanced the Oslo process the PLO was on the verge of collapse. Today it is two distinct and established terror states. Peace is unreachable. Syria is in a state of collapse.
