The rabbis of the Forum are all highly honorable and respected persons. It is extremely difficult to imagine that they did not thoroughly investigate this matter before issuing their statement. This is not to say that they are a court of law and that the man is not, in fact, innocent (let us pray that he is), but by taking the very extraordinary step of publicizing their pronouncement we can reasonably well assume that they did so after great deliberation and and a heavy heart.

Anyone who ever had any dealings with Rav Elon will attest that he is righteous and totally committed to the betterment of the Jewish people. Accusation on this forum of child molestation, or comparing him to the Catholic Church are absurd. No one has a clue of what he is being accused of, other than moral misdeed (whatever that means). There have not been any criminal accusations, so all of you hold your tongues about this holy man.

Any allegations have to be thoroughly investigated in an appropriate manner by a body that has experience in human behavior and assessing evidence, as well as depth of knowledge of Halacha. If that is true of anyone, how much more so when talking of a giant who has inspired thousands way beyond his own circle.
