I think that part of the propaganda sold by the Israeli government is that all Jews are loyal to the state. There are thousands of Jews who are actively opposed to the state, for the facts that a government acts in our names and occupies a land that does not belong to the Jews, but to Palestinians. It is the same in Canada where I reside when not in Israel. As to loyalty to Israel, you bet I am. I am a Jew (ani yehudi) and I am proud. On the other hand, many Jews in the USA and Canada have lost their affiliation to Judaism and to our homeland. This is a fact of the Diaspora, intermarriage, lack of a genuine Jewish education, etc. At any rate, as you will note from a previous post, many Jews outside of Israel do not feel any affiliation with our state at all and very little with respect to their identities as Jews and, without Israel, only the Orthodox and Charedim outside of Israel would be left to carry on our traditions. At any rate, your conspiracy theory has been levelled at us before. Wake up, Sami, and become more objective. And, incidentally, the same theory has been levelled against Arab Muslims who have moved to Europe and North and South America, that you really have no loyalty to the countries you reside in, only to the spread of the Muslim faith either by voluntary conversion or, if necessary, by force.

Sami, I am Jewish, Israeli and American, and I could not be more proud of anything but the State of Israel. Most Arab citizens living in Israel would not want to leave. Life is better for them in Israel than it would be in most Arab countries. It is not perfect and that is mainly because of security concerns, but then again, most Arab Israelis although inconvenienced often, understand what the security is all about. This is what most say when you are sitting with them talking.
