Actually, all Israeli cultural troupes sign a pledge to represent the state of Israel in their international work, most especially the official troupes. Israel is in violation of numerous international laws and UN resolutions, Geneva conventions, and so on, by gradually, surreptitiously seizing an entire country from indigenous people while masquerading as the victim. I'd be glad to boycott many of the countries you mention. But please don't try to cover the crimes of the country you wish to defend by deflecting to other issues. No one's picking on Israel. Israel has picked on itself through its marauding behavior.

Lived in Vermont for three years. Loved it. Except the first day that I was hanging out and saw the "Vermonters for a Just Peace" in action. Their garbage public access show is propaganda, it's members are Arabist and it is very, very anti-Israel. They don't want a "just peace," they want a Palestinian state IN PLACE of Israel. It's interesting what reading these comments reveals. It would seem that many people simply have no interest in objective reality if it does not suit their political ends. Here I have alleged that most of what is written in the article is simply factually incorrect, and I have tried to set the record straight. It's disturbing that there seems to be no interest in discussing whether or not the writer of the article is lying, or whether I am lying, but only making irrelevant attacks. Do you people care about facts? Even more disturbing is that, although my comments and the comments of a few others who supported the protest apparently merit excoriation, someone who writes "exterminate the muslims and save the planet" elicits no response.
