For a people who have a stereotype attached to them regarding ownership of media and such. ISRAEL HAS THE WORST PUBLIC RELATIONS IN THE WORLD. The campaign was not made by CIJA, but rather by CFJS - the Canadian Federation of Jewish Students (Torontoist posted a correction on the same issue http://torontoist.com/2010/02/selling_israel_with_sex_bad_taste_or_good_marketing.php ). And I'm sure they're available for comment, as their spokesperson, Rebecca Cherniak, has been quoted discussing the campaign in numerous sources. A correction to the article is needed.

Israelis are certainly world-leaders in many aspects, but they continue to fail miserably in their attempts to communicate to the West. It won't come as a surprise when this entire hasbara campaign backfires.

Disgusting embarassing advertisement. I was positive when I first saw it, that it was a dirty joke going around the internet, and was so shocked and surprised to find out it was for real. What in the world were these advertisers thinking? And I can definitely not be considered a prude or victorian.

You really should get out more and look up some facts. Jerusalem is and always has been the capital of Israel. It's funny there is nothing wrong with it you narrow minded people, although I like Gal Gadot more, but this ad is funny and I guess go there , party have fun and get a bigger tool to worship.
