91. #6 - Very true. Driver has limited vision
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
In addition, Corrie stood on a hill and lost her footing, falling down behind the hill. So the driver really couldn't see her at all and admitted that he thought she ran away as the other ISM'ers do when he advances. Several ISM'ers there admitted that they couldn't get the drivers attention and believed it was just a tragic accident. ISM retracted those statements immediately and concocted a tirade against Israel for the event, along with the Pal doctor.
92. #13 - Not just a terrorist's home
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
But was also one end of a smuggling tunnel used to bring weapons and explosives into Gaza. There wasn't a kind family of Gazans living there. Rachel purposely acted as a human-shield for a building that was part of the suffering of people inside and outside Gaza. Such is the case of egotistical Leftists who believe their ideology creates the reality.
93. One point most underscored by Leftists actions
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
They absolutely expect to be treated with kid gloves by the IDF, and even protected, through out the entire violent protest. To these egotistical naive children, they are looking for adventure - so they can go to trek across India (which might be dangerous) or join a cause and go protest against "racist" Israel, sleep and eat well then go to the beach and dance at clubs. When someone get's hurt, they all cry that it was deliberate, believing that such a trist was just like visit Six Flags Amusement Park. They wouldn't dare to protest against any Arab leader or Chinese human rights abusers, but find it comfortable in Israel because they're hardly touched. THIS is the biggest reason why Leftists continue to pour in to protest, and why Israel should actually enforce it's laws and arrest everyone in closed military zones or who lies when entering the country. Damn the condemnations of the very Leftist "human rights" groups who want the protests to happen in the first place.
94. #80 - If it's the truth, why doesn't Goldstone back it?
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
Goldstone himself said that the "facts" included in the report came from Hamas and Gazans that Hamas allowed him to see because Israel refused to meet wtih his biased team. He also said there was NO legal basis for any of the accusations in the report. So, what part of this report is "truth" exactly if it has no real basis to prove accusations and came from the terrorists who started the conflict?? One can easily see your narrow perspective and understand your bias. Seeing something on tv doesn;t make it real nor does it include the entire context which could change the end message. Al-Jazeera knows this, and illegally entered a war zone to do so. You remind me of those red necks who strongly insist that pro wrestling is real.
95. #84 - I definitely want those videos
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
Please share.
96. #80...BBS News
Malone ,   Hfx   (02.24.10)
lol...you have managed to lower yourself to the level of "funny". Before,(this is all my opinion only),you were annoying,irritating,biased,racist,lying,etc,etc,...I could go on. However, you are now ridiculous and I,who usually skipped your nonsensical rants, now read them for the comedy contained within them. Keep it up,BBS ,you're funnier than the Simpsons.
97. #96 I don't read what he writes we already know his lying
rachel ,   usa   (02.24.10)

99. corrie was not a liberal
uncle joe mccarthy ,   los angeles, califor   (02.25.10)

100. to #81 eliyahu from Yitzchak #1,20,39,61,67,79
Yitzchak ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (02.25.10)
My name really IS Yitzchak and like our forefather of the Bible whose name I share - I am deeply and madly in love with the Land of Israel, the whole of Israel as defined in the Book of Numbers by G-d Himself. I do all I can to love her and appreciate her and do all that I can to DEFEND her, in words and in action. In other words, I am married to the Land. I treat the Land as I would treat my beloved wife.

102. Today, the heads of the coalition of which Hamas is a part,
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (02.25.10)
that is Ahmadinijad of Iran and Assad of Syria, called for a "new Middle East", one without "Zionists". The translation of this call, made publicly in Damascus today, is: A new Middle East, one without Jews!!! Would Ms. Corrie stand behind this call and led her time efforts and even life for the goal of wiping the nearly six million Jews of Israel off the face of earth as her senders have been promoting? I suspect she would be glad to stand by Ahmadinijad's words and Assad's call since they have done it before, and she joined the "struggle". This is the context of her death, and this is why have am not sorry for the fact that she will never walk again on the soil of my people: Eretz Israel (Land of Israel).
103. to the mona lisa from belgium

104. ISM expressed motives for wanting Rachel Corrie dead
Bill ,   Wilkes-Barre, US   (03.10.10)
ISM members Joseph Smith and George Rishmawi both expressed motives for wanting Rachel Corrie dead; her death in a confrontation with the IDF would make good propaganda. Smith, who was present when she died and whose highest priority was apparently to take pictures, said " "The spirit that she died for is worth a life. This idea of resistance, this spirit of resisting this brutal occupying force, is worth anything. And many, many, many Palestinians give their lives for it all the time. So the life of one international, I feel, is more than worth the spirit of resisting oppression" and also "'We knew there was a risk,' Smith said, 'but we also knew it never happened in the two years that we (the ISM) have been working here. I knew we take lots of precautions so that it doesn't happen, that if it did happen it would have to be an intentional act by a soldier, in which case it would bring a lot of publicity and significance to the cause.' Note how, in both cases, he talks about how much more useful Rachel is to his cause dead than she was alive. The same for Mr. Rismawi: ""When Palestinians get shot by Israeli soldiers, no one is interested anymore," Rishmawi said. "But if some of these foreign volunteers get shot or even killed, then the international media will sit up and take notice." There is more, and it is even worse. As but one example, the ISM acknowledges that a bulldozer had previously barely managed to avoid running over Rachel, but it nonetheless allowed or encouraged her to engage in the same dangerous "direct action" again, in reckless disregard for her safety. When Craig and Cindy Corrie finally realize what really happened to their daughter, they will direct their anger in the right direction and then Rachel Corrie will get GENUINE justice.
105. the only person responsible is this young woman .
jenny ,   USA   (03.11.10)
the only reason she is dead is because of her own foolish actions . the person driving the bulldozer was not chasing people down , no one else was killed , it was not the result of his actions it was only the result of HER reckless behavior . the reason why american's are not outraged and why our government will not do anything is simple . we do not blame israel we blame her . if the person in the bulldozer actually abandoned his mission to destroy the building , chased after her and mowed her down then yes it would be his fault . if someone stands on a railroad track and thinks they have the ability to stop the train ignoring all the signs and warnings , and then gets killed who is more at fault ? also responsible are those who encouraged her and enabled her to believe that she was invincible .
106. Check your sources.
Ari, M.D. Ph.D.   (03.17.10)
#9 You obviously have confounded yourself into believing that what happened in Jenin was a hoax. You cannot reference someone's opinion as fact, nor can you ignore the overwhelming evidence of crimes committed by the IDF. Israel needs to be accountable for its actions. It is not just this one event, but a culmination of unjust acts committed against Palestinian civilians in the name of Israel--along with acts committed against unarmed international protesters. If this barely received media coverage, I can't imagine what other atrocities go unnoticed.
