Can someone please explain to me how slamming an infant against the floor falls under the category of "a tragic accident"?? I believe the courts are terrified of antogizing the Haredim, judging by what happened a while ago, when they arrested a Haredim guy for also abusing and murdering his baby. I fervently hope that this man is not allowed out ever (although I know he will be), and never allowed to come in contact with any children every again. Are we supposed to believe that he can be "cured" in this mental hospital? He needs to be kept away from the public forever. A pipe dream, I know.
