1. in TA? where else!
(02.24.10)
((immigrated to Israel as a child ... was perplexed as to how he will fly to Australia, now that ... was not contacted by any official Israeli )) did he delivered his passport, for a short while, to the authorities to get the visa for Australia. Maybe that is why no official Israeli contacted him, because if the officials know for sure that he and they are not innocent with regards to the passport issue, they would have contacted him immediately; at least one of the two parties is involved. That is a different story from the ambiguity policy.
2. Where is the internation outrage? The 5 women did not
Ahmad Cohen   (02.24.10)
wear Burqas.
3. ahh..hi there...
eporue ,   europe   (02.24.10)
...the one who walked to "peter" in the airport after arrival - i suppose...
4. We can bet that at least one of the female
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (02.24.10)
suspects was the "femme fatale", the woman who lured al-Mabhouh and entrapped him. As the French always say (at least in their detective novels) "Cherchez la femme"! I am hoping that with this bit of crucial information, the Dubai police will hire me as an outside consultant. I hereby agree to consider any reasonable offer.
5. why do we demand morality from intelligence services
zionist forever   (02.24.10)
Assuming it was Mossad behind that hit and they were traveling on forged passports in the names of innocent people thats just how the intelligence world works. They do not follow the same rules as everybody else and whats illegal and will not be tolerated by society in the intelligence services its all acceptable. If they played by the same rules and tried to act in a morral way then they would get nothing done and be pointless. I feel very sorry for the guy who has had his identity stolen but I will not condemn Mossad if it was them who killed the terrorist. They did their job, they made Israel a safer place and should be proud of themselves for it.
6. All Anglo- Saxon Olim are just nerds
Student ,   BS   (02.24.10)
It's should be an honor for you - Enough with the Galut Mentality - This is Israel !!
7. Why would Mossad use Israeli passports?
noa ,   israel   (02.24.10)
No. 4 Disregarding morality, wouldn't this hurt Israel, rather than help Israel?
8. #7
(02.24.10)
because they're arrogant, and dont think that these actions will harm their relations with the EU. It was just three weeks ago that Berlosconi was talking abut Israel joining the EU...well that's now thrown out the window.
9. Must be another Iranian terror op
Mongo ,   Paris   (02.24.10)
Hamas is broke. The dead terrorist probably owed a lot of money.
10. #6, identity thief is NOT an honor.
(02.24.10)
11. Austin Powers Or Planned PR
Moshe Quartorze ,   Metulla, Israel   (02.24.10)
I cannot believe that this operation was planned so badly. I suggest that the Mossad, assuming they are responsible have done this exercise to get in the world media and frighten the shxt out of every Ham Head.
12. Quite whining you idiot - and be thankful your name...
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (02.24.10)
was used to take this piece of sh... out. Why don't you join the Europeans and call for an investigation? Jerk.
13. I can't wait 4 a Spielberg movie about all this 2come out :)
VK ,   Jerusalem   (02.24.10)
14. ISRALI HIT TEAM
greg sultz ,   canada   (02.24.10)
Took 26 team members to take out one guy? WHAT SHEER INCOMPETENCE.
15. On The Other Hand...
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
consider the Dubai police chief. He has made available 26 passports and photos, but what about the Hamas man allegedly involved who was questioned? How about the two Palestinians who were yanked back from Jordan and thought to be providing information? Why isn't this list 29? What about how Al Mabhouh entered Dubai illegally and what country issued his passport? What about the death examination that the Dubai autopsy doctor said was the most difficult one he had ever done regarding cause and why now is it being reported that the family was told there were burn marks on four parts of the body? This story does not hang together but looks more like trying to hang Israel out to dry. BTW this may have been Al Mabhouh's body double as Hamas reported for news sources that he had died on Jan 20th of cancer in a UAE hospital. How many ways can this guy have died? Or, is Chief Tamim going to reveal his Jewish identity as evidenced by his name and announce that this is a Purimspiel?
16. Why a problem with forged passports???
Chris ,   San Jose CA USA   (02.24.10)
The physical description should be close, but the photo won't be exact, so why should there be worry about travelling? If your passport info got forged, send Dubai a photo of yourself so they know the real person from the imposter - the Dubai cops already know where you live. I've heard nothing about this, but seems much better than having some scum ripoff credit card info, ruin credits, run up bills, etc.
17. Apropo joining the EU
TK ,   ZY, Israel   (02.24.10)
It doesn't seem like the EU will be around for the long-haul.... a number of the countries are on the verge of bankruptcy. So not losing much sleep over not joining following the Dubai assasination.
18. No need to look any further..
kj ,   Paris. France   (02.24.10)
it is the UN that did it...so many countries becoming involved,,,,it has to be a UN deal.
19. team members left to Iran
Ansel ,   US   (02.24.10)
"some of the team members left to Iran after the assassination" So Mossad agents to flee the danger in Dubai fly to Iran. Right. "another name on the new list belongs to afemale Israeli resident; however she has denied having a foreign passport." It is hard to believe that Mossad agents would involved olim by using their passport, but involving another citizen for no reason at all is just not possible. Mossad is being framed.
20. names "magically" disappeared from tele-information?
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
Sorry to bust your attempt at an internal "conspiracy", Yoav. But anyone can have their name removed from a public directory by paying for it to be private. Have you never considered that after dozens of calls by journalists looking for a "scoop" that Philip and Marc decided to make their number private?? You should be working for the Guardian with such leaps of unfounded accusations.
21. #1 -He also wasn't contacted by INTERPOL or EU
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
I assume by your logic, they too are involved in the fake passports. What you show is an ignorance to Israeli govt offices. They are slow on every matter. That's why no Israeli has ever made this accusation when told the Israeli Ministries haven't contacted any of the "accused"
22. #8 - who's really arrogant??
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
The Mossad for using Israeli passports or the schmuck who insists they did regardless of the lack of proof supporting this theory? Your very comments show your arrogance because you ignore the "palestinians" arrested and those that fled to Iran, in the wake of this killing.
23. So if Australia slam this then they are anti semetic too?
Aaron ,   Tel Aviv   (02.24.10)
all week in this tired story, the uk, france, germany and ireland who wanted answers as to why their passports was used in what has israel, thus far, written all over it were shouted down as anti semetic, boycott the eu etc etc. i assume same reaction from the american talkbackers when a US passport is linked in this weird case... Just an observer
24. use my passport
yochi ,   BSheva, Israel   (02.24.10)
I would be honored to have my passport used in such a just execution of a murdering terrorist. Phenominal work, keep it up.
25. #11 - Do you really have so little faith in Mossad?
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
Please - how can you still believe this was a Mossad operation?? 3 "Palestinians" arrested, 1 of them being a Hamas man 2 "assassins" took a boat to Iran afterwards Close to 30 operatives altogether?? This isn't a Mossad operation, this is a massive cover-up using all smoke and mirrors to hide an internal operation by Hamas-Iran, the same that happened to Mugniyeh.
26. ATTENTION MOSSAD !
Yisrael ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (02.24.10)
You can use my passport, anytime ! All you have to do is ask !
27. #23 - Only if they make the accusation without proof
William ,   Israel   (02.24.10)
The anti-semetic argument came just after the virulent EU comments and aggression against Israel claiming it was the Mossad that did this based solely on rumors. Not that other evidence is being presented and showing this an an Arab operation, EU has toned down their rhetoric. The fact that they took this opportunity to vilify Israel and its citizens based on unfounded rumors is what's anti-semetic. I doubt the US would be as callous.
28. 8
zionist forever   (02.24.10)
1) National security comes before diplomacy. If killing a terrorist will be good for Israels national security interests then that has to be put before anything else. 2) Berlesconi wasn't serious about wanting Israel to join the EU that was all diplomatic nonsense for the press. Israel wouldn't want to join the EU either because because EU laws clash with the idea of a state based on a single faith. We also have enough problems with the US pushing us about last thing Israel needs is to join the EU and having a bunch of foreign politicians dictating what we can and cannot do. 3) There is no morality in the intelligence world and there isn't even meant to be any. Its all about spying on your neighbors and carrying out all kinds of illegal acts which can cause diplomatic incidents. Going after Eichman was illegal. There was no permission from Argentina to extroditie him to Israel and Israel was condemned in the UN for it Snatching Vanunu from international soil was illegal and again it got Israel into alot of diplomatic trouble. Bombing Saddam Hussains reactor caused even the US to condemn Israel in the UN Should we have allow the Eichmans and Vanunus to run free or let men like Saddam Hussain develop nukes to avoid diplomatic incidents? Thankfully Israel will be a safer place becase Mossad will continue forging passports, stealing identity and all that sort of thing and they will continue using these forged documents to carry out illegal operations abroad.
29. I'm Seeking Bin Ladin and Ahmad
Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (02.24.10)
I admit I'm a member of Mossad and have been so for 50 years. I have been involved in many attempted assassinations against Israel's enemies. I am an expert marksman...and a weapons devotee. I know the martial arts. I also have been instructed by James Bond ( the first one). I am prepared to take out Ahmad..Assad, Abbas, the leader of Hez and Hamas (both in the Strip and Syria). I come cheap. I can put on disguises..a beard, wig, fake eyelashes., and will use a pillow to seem heavier. And I won't look into a hotel camera...or otherwise make myself obvious. I trained in the US CIA...Please contact me ASAP.
30. you better auk uk, ireland, germany, why they stole israeli
ralph   (02.24.10)
identities. dubai said some went to iran so better ask iran why it stole your identity. so far everybody implicated with proof but israel. i hope israel did it. but wow what a bunch of players involved. dubai it seems only knows well how to run a camera picture service. they do not appear to be able to do anymore than that. no analysis or arrests or timely analysis. not really of much value. but good cameras, i think.
