31. Response to #16
RC ,   USA   (02.26.10)
Hey Sagi, even saints have a bad day. Libya better hope the Swiiss and the rest of Europe do not wake up and stomp on it. I think they are startiing to get tired of the beligerent Islamists.
32. horse's patoot
jewbie ,   NYC USA   (02.26.10)
what a flaming horse's patoot! How about a jihad against polio, cancer, AIDs (like the one that killed arafat) HUH?
33. Gaddafi urges jihad against Switzerland
Brian Smith ,   Kingston   (02.26.10)
GADDAFI IS AN ASSHOLE TOO AND LIBRA WILL BE DESTROY WHEN OUR NEW MESSIAH THE ANTI-CHRIST JAVIER SOLANA COMES TO POWER IN 2013 AND WAGES A HOLY WAR ARMAGEDDON AGANIST ALL ARAB NATIONS AND RUSSIA !
34. Anton, Muslims Should Know...
Robert ,   New Jersey, USA   (02.26.10)
...what racism is. Their entire culture is built upon it. A culture which can be hijacked by fanatics is a culture void of values. Scapegoating Israel for everything demonstrates the baselessness of the culture. Reflexively blaming the West for it's thirst for oil is a tired shibboleth of the Muslim ideology. Sad you fall for it, too. It shoupld not be the west that's blamed for the inability to install democracy in the Islam world. After alll, it did not take a foreign culture to install it in the West. It took a basic understanding of the sovereignty of the individual - a concept of which Islam by ITS VERY NAME - cannot conceive. Anton, If you and your compatriots stand in mute silence to Islam's outrages, then, my friend, you are are not part of the solution. YOU are part of the PROBLEM!
35. UN always allowed Jihad comments against Israel
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
36. #4 - As long as there are a few Muslims in the State
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
Islam will claim it as their own. How dare the Swiss block the slow, but progressing attempt to infiltrate and take over a non-Muslim State. It's a war crime and crime against human rights (sarcasm)
37. #5 - not a screw would be left untightened in Libya
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
38. UN DIRECTOR
(02.26.10)
says that CALLS FOR JIHAD ARE INADMISABLE?????????????? what does this un director think ahmadinejad does publicly all the time when he says that "israel will be wiped off the map"????? mr. director, IS THAT CALL ALSO INADMISSABLE????? where was you fervent response to ahmadinejad when he called for the zionist enemy to be wiped off the map???????? IS THAT ADMISSABLE OR ALSO INADMISSABLE????? double standard un, as usual. hameed aboughaze, iranian
39. #8 - no, but they do have heavy NATO support
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
The minute Libya would try anything against Suisse NATO units would be dispatched to the North coast of Africa immeidately. Suisse has a special place in the hearts of Western countries (and some Arab countries) who have billions of dollars in their banks...or just plain love their chocolate.
40. The day of Switzerland's worst catastrophe was when they
Rivkah   (02.26.10)
found they did not have a canopener to open a can of food, or scissors to but open a bag of food, or a knife to slice and apple or a toothpick to pick their teeth, or tweezers to pull out an ingrown hair. They solved all those problems with one device, so they don't worry about catastrophes anymore. The big ones were resolved already.
41. Why is this guy still in power!
Ali ,   Washington DC   (02.26.10)
His whole fued with Switzerland is rooted in a personal incident and the the dispicable behavior of his son towards a swiss individual. The only jihad needed is one to liberate Libyans from this clown.
42. #22 - Same ideology that Leftists subscribe to
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
It is taking a long time for democracies to wake up because they so ferverently believe in their own ideals that they can't see the reality happening in front of them. It's the same reason no one took Hitler seriously at first because they couldn't believe something that was so anathema to their own ideals. Seeing and hearing the raucous racist eminating from Arab countries and mosques throughout the world, Leftists still cling to their own ideals and insist on old talking points that are never working - appeasement, democracy solves all ills and is always welcome, every unique population should have their culture absolutely accepted even if it condones terrorism.
43. #23 - where are their voices?
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
Yes - I agree that Muslims all over the world are be painted on the basis of the nuts who act in their name...but where are their voices? When the Mullahs in Iran are threatening genocide in Israel and gathering nukes, when Saddam wontonly tortured and killed hundreds of thousands, when Al-Qaeda hides behind civilians and kills in the name of Allah, when the Koran is constantly being manipulated to justify the wholesale slaughter of innocents globally....where are the voices of those Muslims who disagree with this? Where are the street protests? Where are the demands for action? Nothing but silence. Except for the groups that not only condone such atrocities in Islam, but celebrate it with sweets and naming their babies after the butchers. Again, Muslims have the opportunity and ability to set things right...and don't.
44. #30 - "Jews should know we are their friends"
William ,   Israel   (02.26.10)
Yeah - why should we consider otherwise when your leader openly supports Israel being dragged to court on war crimes and works closely with Hamas. Why should it bother us that Turkey covers for Iran's violations in the UN? Why should Jews, Israel especially, be worried when they see increasing violent protests with Turks using the same racist terminology as "palestinians" use and an increase in violence against Jewish tourists. Maybe we're too sensitive or expect too much from "friends".

mike ,   canada   (02.26.10)
What a load from the world's chief loafer. If the mozzels can't build minnarets above ground, they should be able tio build them below ground. There is a good reason for this. Jihad is a valid way of demanding states cave into mozzel demands isn't it? And, all this from a loafer who gave the orders to hang students in Benghazi What a world!

"What did swisenland ever give us other than the cuckoo clock and modern day terrorism nothing i tell you nothing we dont need them nor do we need their ships docking in our ports" You forgot fondue and chocolate Rashid. I guess you didn't get the English for Dummies book and a map. What do you mean "we" unless you are saying that Palestinians are really generic Arabs ? What ports are you refering to Rashid, Israeli ports ? You should lay off the Sauce Rashid, it's against Sharia Law for you to consume any alcohol, it just makes your post sloppy to read.

Hal ,   Usa   (02.26.10)
Ever wondered what happened to Monty Rock the 3rd? Gaddafi in a top hat with a cape would be an excellent addition to his notorious wardrobe. Gaddafi reminds me of Professor Irwin Cory with the rambling routine.Pitiful place that Libya when a rank colonel can skip all the way to Leader.

54. No, not all religions are a "psychological disease"
G.A. ,   Jerusalem   (02.27.10)
You say: "A psychological disease" is a very apt description of religion, all religions ..." No need to generalize; what have you got against Buddhism (originally, as the Buddha, taught); what can conceivably be said against Jainism who wish well to aal living creatures not just all humans! - ?
55. The irony
Christopher ,   Boston, MASS   (02.27.10)
A state known best for its financial support of terrorism and genocide (they did support Hitler, and now finance Iran, the Sudan, and the Taliban) now being threatened by one of its own scions. I guess there is no honor amonst thieves, terrorists, drug pushers, and their financiers
56. #52 Anton, Not True
Hal ,   Usa   (02.27.10)
You say that as an old friend you will tell every wrongdoing of Israel all the time. So Anton, why is it that almost every Turkish poster has a nuclear fit when anyone mentions Armenians of Kurds? I would be willing to hear your critiques of Israel if you would accept the critiques of Turkey and how Enver Pasha somewhat like Erdogan politically and went all Isamo-nationalistic causing the slaughter of Armenians as a way to transfer their population out of Turkey, and how the Kurdish population of Turkey is culturally discriminated against by the Turkish Govt. I'm just pointing this out as a friend. Naturally I defend your secular rights as heirs to Kemal Attaturk.
57. CRAZY
Nimrod ,   Baghdad-Iraq   (02.27.10)
Its their country they can do what they want , Im a moslem and I find prayers being recited out loud is annoying if someone wants to listen to that symphony they can go the mosque and enjoy the yelling contest, I wish they would implement that here one day so I can sleep in peace and not be awakened by the annoying voices of the Mosque.

59. #58 Anton
Hal ,   Usa   (03.01.10)
Hey Anton, I appreciate your response to me. I was really making a point in general because there are so many ill informed comments that it gets old trying to enlighten zombies. It is good to be honest because, no matter what country you are from, somebody at some time got stepped on, right or wrong. It takes a courageous person to admit things that are unpleasant. For instance The US has a horrible history of abuse, in cases genocide and obviously slavery. The good is that as a nation we have struggled to address these issues and make amends. Not there by a long shot compared to the wrong but making progress just the same. I realize that Turkey has had issues as well and am aware that people are working on this which is good. Some Turks that post here act as if their homes are made from glass. You and I know better. Peace and happiness to you Anton!
60. #28 you are a disgrace
Lisa   (03.03.10)
you are a disgrace to your Jewishness- you sound almost as bad as Gadhaffi. I find your TB insulting- I do not wish anybody anything bad- but I hope you will choke on the filth you are spewing. As for G. being a Jew- Big mouth? Braindead? You must be soooo proud to have a fellow Jew like this- good for you :)
