Israel "ice cream" traditionally was made of vegetable oil and tasted like it. Israelis still like that stuff. I miss good old fashioned, cholesterol filled, cream, Ice cream.
B&J are a step in the right direction.

Perhaps Ben & Jerry's had reduced popularity over the previous years,because they shunned our water - refusing to use water from the Golan in the production of their icecream. I for one have boycotted their products ever since.

it's italian international chains of Ice cream parlors I am surprised you got it in Israel.

i love to buy ben and jerry's...sometimes its expensive but other times great sales! and it gives me a little taste of what i left in america to move here....its a taste of home
