1. There is plenty of room on the Arab Peninsula
Yacov ,   Chicago   (02.28.10)
Israel absorbed hundreds of thousands of Jews who were ethnically cleansed from Arab Muslim countries. There is plenty of room on the Arab Peninsula for Arab Palestinians. If they can't behave themselves in Israel, then move them to the Arab Peninsula.
2. This is what Israel wants
Rose ,   Canada   (02.28.10)
This theft of sites just gives Israelis more reasons to kill and imprison the population of the land they are occupying.
3. Israel stand strong!
Mikhael ,   Otaria   (02.28.10)
The enemies of truth have concluded their planning. They say in their hearts that Jews never existed,so what belongs to Israel is violently robbed.Esau traded his birth right to Jacob.Concerning Ishmael and his descendants, the Lord God of Israel said to Abraham,"NO."when when he enquired,"Why not let Ishmael be my heir?"GOD said,"Your wife Sarah will bear you a son(ISAAC) I will keep my covenant with him and with his descendants for ever.An EVERLASTING covenant{Genesis:17;17-22} with those reassuaring verses,am confident in the triumph of the Jewish descendants of Isaac,Jacob and the twelve tribes of Israel.Woe to the enemies for they prepare hot coals to burn themselves.
4. What is so tough to understand?
Dan ,   Titusville, FL   (02.28.10)
A undivided Jerusalem is the Capitol if Israel. This may be too hard for the Palestinians to understand but nevertheless, IT IS TRUE!!!
5. To #2 Rose
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (02.28.10)
Dear Rose, When somebody calls others thiefs and similar, is supposed to at least have some idea what she is talking about. The Cave of the Machpela or Cave of the Patriarchs is the first registered buy in the Bible! Abraham bought it to bury his wife! How can you deny the connection between the Jewish people and this place? Even more, Muslims say this place is Holy because Abraham, father of ishmael is buried there (not Ishmael). Please, before writing, check your data, you are giving a very poor image!
6. Stop the madness!
ben Ish   (02.28.10)
Jews must STOP being Jewish! History must STOP being history! Facts must STOP being facts! And the absurdity of all things, history based on facts, well, obviously THAT needs to stop also.
7. To #1
Jarda ,   Czech Republic   (02.28.10)
I guess there's lots of space in Florida, Russia or Ethiopia. So Jews could go back to their homes and peace will again prevail in ME
8. Rose # 2
whoever ,   whatever   (02.28.10)
dear rose your lexington is a perverted one use of "theft", "kill", and "occupation" in your lexington is inappropriate, and reversed, due to your backgraound ideology, or rearing...
9. we will see what this "convening" will bring..
jerusalem   (02.28.10)
10. #1: yes, actually
there is plenty of room on the Arabian Peninsula...and the rest of the world "Israel" also absorbed hundreds of thousands of jews from all over the world, whether they were ethnically cleansed, persecuted, etc. from arab, european or what the like countries. Guess you forgot that your own 'home of the brave' was also a culprit of some racist activity towards your people back in the day. There is plenty of room in the world for an "Israel". If the Germans feel so bad, why cant they offer the land? if the british, american, french, etc. countries really wanted to help, why cant they offer some of their land? why should an occupied piece of land be handed the way it was by the british and why do people think that this decision will/is/should be fine with the native people of the land? if the israelis who moved into the country cant or will not "take the heat" in politically correct israel, then move out back to which ever continent you came from. the world is larger than the arabian peninsula and israel combined, otherwise sit tight, get comfy and enjoy the ride. its going to be a long journey.
11. oops sorry, that previous talkback was from "jerusalem"
12. #7 Jarda - You must be some kind of...
Mike M. ,   Seattle Wa.   (02.28.10)
fool if you think peace ever prevailed in the ME and that Jews will ever give up their more than rightful place in it.
13. Bored of infighting, they find a way to fight the Jews again
14. Soon they will say the White House is a 2K year old mosque
Genius ,   US   (02.28.10)
It's the Islamic Jihad, stupid! They own everything and everything was always muslim (so they think).
15. So much for the Palestinian Economic Miracle -It was all BS
Alan ,   SA   (02.28.10)
16. #1 tiny Israel
observer   (02.28.10)
Jews live in 160 states, and sit in parliaments of 10 countries; there are or were Jewish premier ministers in France, Russia, Austria etc. In the Jewish state, there are no goy ministers, and goyim – whether Christian or Muslim have no full rights, even if they were born there.
17. @ no.10
AJ - Raalte   (02.28.10)
The problem with that stupid idea is that there are already Arabs and Muslims all over the world, trying to dominate everywhere and claiming all sorts of things!
18. The "crimes" of Israel nowhere compare to the "crimes"
BK   (02.28.10)
that the Palestinian "government" impose upon their own people.
19. #7: Silly boy, Arabs hate Arabs. There will never be peace
BK   (02.28.10)
in any Mid Eastern Arab world.
20. #16 - Then who is MK TIbi, Al-Sana, etc?
William ,   Israel   (03.01.10)
Did they convert to Judaism and I wasn't made aware?? I'll remember to tell my B'hai, Druze, and Muslim friends that they have no full rights - when we meet where ever we want within the State, or at work, or on the same university grounds open to everyone. We actually laugh at your stupid accusations because, unlike many Arabs in the State, my buddies pay their taxes, do national service or army service, vote when asked, and visit each other regularly.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.01.10)
Are you serious? First of all, Israel is our home. It was restored to its rightful owners in 1947 after a two-millennium hiatus, but that doesn’t change its ownership. Besides, Jews didn't do so well living among the Russians, the Poles, the French, the Germans, the Dutch and -- oh, yes, lest I forget -- the Czechs. The Palestinian Arabs come principally from the Hejaz in Western Arabia. They are relatively newcomers to what was formerly known as Palestine (which was never a country, by the way). They never had a sense of themselves as anything beyond tribal. The Palestinian Arabs living in the West Bank were quite content to be Jordanian between 1948 and 1967. There was no agitation for a "Palestinian state." The same is true for the Palestinian Arabs living in Gaza. They were quite content to be Egyptian between 1948 and 1967. The Palestinian Arabs have rejected a two-state solution on three separate occasions. They are not interested in their own state; they are interested in the State of Israel. There are thirty-odd Palestinian organizations, each purporting to be the true sole representative of the Palestinian people. The one thing that all these charters hold in common is that their charters call for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jewish people. So you tell me. Are the Palestinian Arabs interested in peace? Six wars and sixty-plus years of unrelenting terror would suggest that peace is the last thing on their minds. That said, I wish, too, to point out that Israel has absolutely nothing to do with Arab-on-Arab violence -- of the Sunni/Shi'ite sort, to name but one. For you to suggest that everything will be happy, happy, joy, joy if the Jews leave Israel is stupid and naive. Get an education before you post here. Unless, of course, you enjoy having your silly suggestions picked apart.

These are Jewish holy sites, Rose. You cannot steal what belongs to you. G-d you are stupid.
23. Jarda #7
Jane   (03.01.10)
Interesting that people like you never refer to Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, etc. all of which cast our the Jews who had been living in those countries for almost 2000 years. Interesting that Florida and Russia is all you can think of other than a nod to Ethiopia.

avi ,   nyc   (03.01.10)
And there is much space in the sudetanland that you can return to its rightful owners

and in no moslem nation are jews or christians given equal rights
26. to #16 very observant of you to
Barney ,   USA   (03.01.10)
notice the success of Jews worldwide. This is because of their philosophy of learning and because they don't seek to blow themselves up to kill anyone who doesn't agree with their philosphy. Jews were on the frontlines of the civil rights movement in the USA. If you aren't at the top in Israel-look in the mirror
27. To #7 Jarda
Daniel ,   CH   (03.01.10)
"I guess there's lots of space in Florida, Russia or Ethiopia. So Jews could go back to their homes and peace will again prevail in ME." Not true: in those lands and all over the world (your Chech Republik included) is Jewish-hatred (called also anti-Semitism and/or anti-Zionism) still well and alive. So chill out: Israel will for ever be the unique state with a Jewish majority, culture and religion, regardless whether people like you like it or not. On the other hand, Palestinians would be in good hands among their brothers in the Arabic Penisula. After all, they're birds of a feather.
28. Jerusalem the Only Holie place to Judaism.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (03.01.10)
One of the most popular lies that has become universally accepted as if it was an indisputable truth is the myth about Jerusalem being the third sacred place to Islam. It is quite rare to hear the honest truth, that Jerusalem is the First and Only Holiest place to Judaism! As a matter of fact, Jerusalem is not mentioned at all in the koran, and Muhammad has never been there (perhaps he did not even know about the existence of Jerusalem!). The tale about his dream flight has been related with Jerusalem in a very recent time for political strategy purposes. The Islamic claim to the Temple Mount is very recent - Jerusalem's role as "The Third Holiest Site in Islam" in mainstream Islamic writings does not precede the 1930s. It was created by the grand mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini as explained at :
