Protect the holy sites from Israel??? This from a country that actively demolished every single synagogue in the Old City of Jerusalem in 1948? From a "people" who destroyed Kever Yosef, destroyed all the synagogues in Gush Katif? The list goes on and on. The bigger question is why do we give him any credence - we should ignore the ramblings of someone who has nothing better to do than just shoot his mouth off and spew hate and garbage.

Israel let Muslim pray in that mosque and it's not around Hebron and no Israeli official even mention the Mosque, palis want to turn their war to religious one, and drag Jordan with them to unnecesery conflict, mmm palis sure knew how to create wars.
33. to #3 wrong there is ancient synaagouge on the

Too bad we know the independant arab state is Jordan, not another arab state. Looks like it's getting time again for another Jordanian tuchas kicking. This time we transfer all arabs to whats left of Jordan after we anex both sides of the river

Al-Qaeda (or at the very least al-qaeda style thinking), is well established in Jordan now. The king is scared. The guy that did the terrorist attack on the CIA and the Jordanian royal, released a video before he died asking Jordanians to attack and try and kill anyone that works for the Jordanian intelligence. Not many Jordanians will, but some may and this will create fear in the Jordanian intelligence community and then perhaps secret alliances with Al-Qaeda. However, the way to deal with this, is to pray that Jesus Christ will return soon, because its looking that its going to get really bad very soon and only a person like him can calm everyone now at this point.
36. #4 No sigle synagogue destroyed in the arab world after 48
observer   (03.01.10)
I challenge you! But, of the 160 mosques (including Mash'had Nabi Hussein of Ashkelon) in the Palestinian villages incorporated into Israel under the armistice agreements, fewer than 40 are still standing.
37. The King of Jordan Protests
Ger ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.01.10)
Look who's talking! His father's government destroyed every synagogue in the Old City between 1948-1967. The Jordanian Army used Jewish gravestones as latrines. The area around the Western Wall was a garbage dump. Palestinians burned Joseph's Tomb. Palestinian terrorists desecrated the Church of the Nativity. Yet he is disturbed because Israel names Jewish holy sites as National Heritages. He has no shame.

39. Jordan's Abdullah: pot calling kettle black!
Yitzchak Freeman ,   London UK   (03.01.10)
Jordan's King Abdullah wants the world to stop Israel desecrating holy sites in an attempt to alter Jerusalem's identity??! Am I missing something here? Is this the King of the same country that during 1948-1967 systematically razed and desecrated synagogues, Jewish cemeteries and other Jewish sites throughout East Jerusalem and the Old City, expelled the entire Jewish population of the Old City, and barred Jews from all access to holy sites in Jerusalem (and Bethlehem, Hebron and Shechem/Nablus in an attempt to alter Jerusalem's and Israel's identity ... er, existence?? This just has to be a Purim joke!

43. there is no place for jews at jewish holy places
zionist forever   (03.01.10)
Between 1949-1967 when Jordan controlled the Old City arabs were permitted to urinate against the Kotel. After 1967 Israel wanted a synagogue at the cave next to the muslim mosque that had been built but the muslims objected. They wanted it all to themselves. In 2000 Barak ordered the IDF to withdraw from Josephs Tomb and hand it over to control of the palestinian police force. Within hours the palestinians who have such respect for religious places burned the place. They use Temple Mount as a site to start riots and throw stones at worshipers at the Kotel. The muslims have not shown the slightest bit of respect for jewish holy place. They also annex them and say they are muslim ones. Despite the fact Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran they adopted the site of the Temple as their third holiest site and even declared the Kotel a muslim holy place which is why George W Bush refused to visit the place during his visit. The Machpellah Cave despite the fact Abraham is the father of both judaism & islam the muslims have tried to make this site a muslim only holy place. Rachels Tomb ( wife of Jacob ) they have said is an important mosque. Neither Jacob or Rachel had any connection to islam. Josephs Tomb they turned into a mosque again Joseph has no connection to islam. It seems there is no place for jews at jewish holy sites.

Here's an article you may find interesting. Perhaps you will feel a little less sorry for yourself afterward. After all, Palestinians have always been the architects of their own misfortune. The same cannot be said for the disgraceful treatment of Jews in Arab lands following Israel's victories in 1948 and 1967, and following Algeria's independence. http://www.jcpa.org/JCPA/Templates/ShowPage.asp?DRIT=5&DBID=1&LNGID=1&TMID=111&FID=625&PID=861&IID=1020&TTL=The_Forgotten_Narrative:_Jewish_Refugees_from_Arab_Countries

Wasn't it Jordan that destroyed all traces of Jewish heritage that they possibly could? How did the palestinians fare under Jordanian rule pre 67? how do they fare no? How are those refugee camps still in Jordan?
46. #44 I challenge you to name single Syn. destroyed after 1948
observer   (03.02.10)
even Jewish center for public affairs doesn't name one. do you really believe them?
47. what jewish holy sites?
Liz ,   NY, USA   (03.25.10)
The only synagogue you can find in the Jordanian region is called Gerasa Synagogue, and it had a church built on it around the year 530 by the romans! Thats before jordan or transjordan existed, it was a roman city back then! So can you please specify what holy site are you exactly refering to when you ask if Jordan would protect a Jewish Holy Site? Cause as far as I know, the ruins of this Synagogue are protected as a historical holy site in the city of Jerash in Jordan! Please dont attach Jordan, if you do not know all the fact. Jordan respects all religious sites, irrespective of the religion, and the expect israel to do the same.
