But I don't think they use margarine. Most people don't realize margarine raises the cholesterol more than butter does, and it lacks the oil soluble vitamins butter has. Margarine is also one molecule away from being plastic, so it couldn't be healthy for people to eat and it is not.

We are in Israel! Why can't you use measurements that relate to the ingredients we find in the supermarket?? What is a pound of flour? What is an ounce of yeast. Please use grams or at least packages (of margarine) so that people here can use your recipies. Or at least use both. The paper is meant for Israelies too, isn't it ???

the recipe might prove a bit challenging... even if you have a supersized bowl, a regular handmixer is too small for this quantity. maybe at the point before adding the floor, split the "cream" into two or more bowls. it makes several loaded sheets of bread... 1 hour baking could be 10-15 minutes too long (?) i used two packages dry yeast, 14 gr (because the package says its for 500 gr flour) but one should be really sufficient.
