1. so palis payed for voting against Israel
ghostq   (03.07.10)
sound like coruption, and if someone pay to divert policy should be brought to trile unless the senate is no longer the representatives of the Amerikan people cause now anyone can"donat" to the senate, in this case they right for accuse him and he is lucky not to be send to jail for corruption.
2. If US wants to end up like Eurabia-accept "PAYMENTS" from ME
Alan ,   SA   (03.07.10)
In Europe,Arab money is fed in truckfulls to Influential people. It is done as Grants, Payments for so called work done ,Lecture fees, etc etc All the recipient has to do is promote the hate agenda. Make no mistake these are BIG$$$$
3. Funny he did not deny voting aginst Israel
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (03.07.10)
'When asked whether he has ever supported Israel during his ten years in the House of Representatives he answered, "There's no place for calling me an anti-Semite and then denying it. That whispering campaign, that silent slander stops today." ' But he dose not seem to have denied voting against "defining Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel" or against voting down funding. Seems his concerns about a smear campaign are based on truth.
4. Wow, what a surprise. But then Clinton, Carter and Obama too
Jake   (03.07.10)
have received money from Islamist groups. Clinton and Carter through their Foundations, and Obama during his campaign. Muslims are buying influence through that and by donating money to universities and other organizations, as well as purchasing media (most recently Fox channel). Gazans were boasting how they had donated money to Obama's campaign. The big bucks came from more anonymous donors from ME countries.
5. Is USA still an independent country?
Petteri ,   Finland   (03.07.10)
This Israel loyalty proving among US elite is becoming absurd. Israel is a Lilliput country with no real economical influence for an average US citizen. Supporting the behaviour of Israel makes it difficult to condemn religious separation and racist violent behaviour.
6. To #5: USA is not like Eurabia where you live
EST ,   Miami USA   (03.07.10)
Talk about racist apartheid countries ... look at Muslim countries, places like Saudi Arabia where no Christian churches can be built and any Christian is subject to arrest for up to 3 days on grounds of being a Christian and not a Muslim! Look at Gaza where Catholics are being run out, the YMCA burnt, Christians are threatened and tortured, etc., etc.Look at Gaza where the synagogue left behind by Israel when it gave Gaza to the Palestinians was desecrated and set on fire. Look at the thousands years old mountain buddahs destroyed by the Taliban for "being offensive to Islam.Ï can go on and on .. Then look at Israel, where ALL faiths are welcomed to live in peace while livprofessing their faith and praying at their houses of worship ... you find Bahai, Chrisitians of all denominations, Catholics of all sects, Muslims of different sects and Jews in the Jewish state. This is anathema in Muslim countries and you guys under the guise of liberalism have been infected and infiltrated by those who will subjugate you under pain of death...Good for Wikders and other Europeans who have the courage to stand up for their beliefs and European lifestyle, democracy and tolerance before it gets to the point of no return for you!
7. to 5 in finnie land
Barney ,   USA   (03.07.10)
Israel has no economic influence on the average American. this is true. Who said it is about money. It is about idealology and freedom. People all over the world are waking up to the danger of radical islam. not many people would like living under sharia law. As for Israel being a lilliput land? I would like to see how finland stacks up in terms of gdp. patents, medical technology, technology in general and on and on and on. Israel is a highly successful country in spite of overwhelming obstacles placed before it. No natural resources as in oil just plain old brain power, work ethic, and the desire to live in peace and freedom even if it is surrounded by neighbors that desire its demise.
8. if the israeli prime minister said that
takin ,   Ottawa Canada   (03.07.10)
the earth is flat, evangelicals and us senators will agree and claim that is anti-semitic to say otherwise.
9. Sometimes it seems that loyalty to Israel trumps ...
arik ,   usa   (03.07.10)
loyalty to the US in American politics. I don't know Campbell or his voting record and would be very concerned if he knowingly accepted money from a terrorist organization--but surely he should be judged on more than how well he conforms to AIPAC's dictates.
10. The bastard playing on words @ Yup
James ,   ISRAEL   (03.07.10)
Funny he did not deny voting against Israel? Avoiding the questions by saying: There is no place for calling me an anti-semite? Guilty as charged and throw him out..
11. Tom Campbell not doubt has Jewish friends
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (03.07.10)
but probably belongs to institutions who don't allow Jewish membership. He reminds me of the words of the Duke of Edinburgh a few years ago when he said that the "British Royal Family had certain reservations about Jews". A fact we have to face is that Jews in the Diaspora have very short memories. A good example of this is they allowed Mel Gibson to be one of the prize presenters at the recent Golden Globes. They seem to have forgotten his anti-Semitic outbursts a few years ago!
12. don't trust those right-wingers
theonlyportia ,   sd, ca   (03.07.10)
don't trust those right-wing evangelicals...please look at the History of the Jewish state and realize that what's best for Israel is only in the hands of the ISRAELI'S...not people who've historically had other ideas for our country...Herzl and Ben-Gurion didn't give their lives in order for our Jewish state to be handed over to the Christians in the end....
13. to #5 Is finland a country?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (03.07.10)
Sounds like the name of a fish from the arabian sea.
14. Petteri, Israel is more important to the US than you realize
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.07.10)
Petteri in Finland writes, "Israel is a Lilliput country with no real economical influence for an average US citizen." Tell that to Motorola, Google, IBM, HP, Intel, GE, Microsoft and others who do much of their R&D in Israel. Tell that to Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon and others who benefit from improvements to their technology, including missile defense. Tell that to the US Army and Marines who have taken vital lessons from Israel's experience that is today saving the lives of US soldiers. The fact is the average US citizen doesn't see how much Israel affects their lives in subtle, positive ways. Perhaps Petteri can tell us how "lilliput" Finland has influenced the average US citizen.
15. Is this guy nuts?
Paul ,   Trinidad   (03.08.10)
At this point, a furious Sharon reportedly turned toward Peres, saying "every time we do something you tell me Americans will do this and will do that. I want to tell you something very clear, don't worry about American pressure on Israel, we, the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it."
16. #15--a Furious Lie
Hakim ,   Detroit, MI   (03.08.10)
