ONLY ONE SINGER IN ISRAEL Cange the judges. They are absolutely tone deaf. Not one of Harel Skaat's songs have rytheme or tune. Where are the other entrants or are Moshe,Zvika and Mira investing money in Skaat. Let Israel select as was done in big brother.
2. Eurovision Song Contest 2010
Mona ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.08.10)
Four beautiful songs, but too traditional to reach the top line I am afraid. The only one with a little speed and nerve is "Lehitkarev". I really wish Harel Skaat good luck - no matter what song he makes. He has a beautiful voice!
3. WELL, I chose
Salma ,   Palestine   (03.08.10)
Song No. 5, it's a wonderful. ;)
4. good singer - material is not winning material
lemmings hotline ,   sd usa   (03.08.10)
No great message in these songs to win hearts and minds.,
5. Great singer
Jared ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.08.10)
My concern is that the winners are more pop-like. I get that Israel's different but perhaps Israel should select songs that are more upbeat.
6. this boy
Yael Adas ,   ny   (03.08.10)
very talented. also yes you know what else.... i wonder how he feels about this honor. mywaypress.blogspot.com
7. bad songs
ORanit ,   Germany   (03.08.10)
I am not particularly struck by these songs!
8. Eurovision
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.08.10)
It couldn't matter less which Israeli sings or which songs are chosen for the Eurovision. The whole thing is nothing but a political farce in any case.
9. What drek
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (03.08.10)
These songs are just awful! There is not one among them worth any award. This is pathetic because Skaat is a fantastic singer. Find this man some decent material
10. Does it really matter?
Michael Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (03.08.10)
The Eurovision "contest" has long since ceased being a musical competition and the songs coming out of it haven't been noteworthy for years. I haven't bothered to watch it for almost 20 years now... and it seems I haven't missed anything.
11. #2 I agree: Lehitkarev
Singer ,   Los Angeles   (03.08.10)
Lehitkarev is the only song that may get Israel into the top ten. Le'an is ok and the other two are nice, but not for Eurovision. Most Eurovision voters don't understand Hebrew. They must feel something from the music alone. Dana International understood this when she wrote Ke'ilu Kan with minimal lyrics. Lehitkarev's interesting melody makes you want to sing along, and has an excellent musical arrangement. The intro w/ the strings and later surprises makes this an exciting song. Israel can score additional votes by giving Harel beautiful female backup singers (all blonde or all brunette) in dresses w/ rich multicolors (like the stunning satin Shiri Maimon wore for HaSheket sheNishar). Also, Israel needs a top-notch choreographer to stage the performance. The lack of choreo the last 2 years hurt Israel. B'hatzlacha! And please let us buy this and Harel's other songs in the iTunes store. PS Thanks Ynet for letting us listen to the songs in advance.
12. The one
Yael Adas ,   ny   (03.08.10)
And oh, Le'an is the one! The range is very apparent and will show everyone!
13. Too bad - they just don't get it
Eric ,   NYC   (03.09.10)
To win Eurovision, you must have a catchy hook that people in other countries will feel from the music. None of these songs are in the least bit memorable. I am a songwriter; I wish I could submit a song for Israel to consider.
14. The Norwegians this year
Mona ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.09.10)
I know Norway very well, and is a bit proud that they won last year. To compare with the Israeli songs, I want to show you what kiond of a melody Norway is sending to the contest; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRQN5A7hf6Q
15. These songs are not completely representative
פטאר ,   Sweden   (03.09.10)
The Israeli music is so much more diverse than these 4 songs. There is mizrahi, there is hip hop, there is great club music, dance pop and good upbeat pop. Yet another weak song will compete in EUROVISION. but we remember songs like "ole ole", "Diva", "Chai" "A ba ni bi".
16. Poor YOU MONA - get a life!!
Moses ,   The Holy Land   (03.09.10)
17. His Other Song "Ve'At" Would Win, Hands Down! Listen OnUtube
Eddie G. ,   Rio, Brasil   (03.09.10)
Harel's older, heartwrenchingly beautiful song "Ve'At" would definitely win Eurovision, it would instantly capture the hearts & minds of people watching it, like it did mine. Please, whoever is out there reading this, please watch Harel sing this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV1WWVo88jA - and then maybe there is a chance he can sing it @ Eurovision? Please, someone please help get this song nominated, ISRAEL WILL WIN EUROVISION ONCE AGAIN WITH THIS SONG - WATCH IT! Thank you, Shalom, Saudades & Abraços from Rio de Janeiro!
18. Har'el - Please in ENGLISH!!
Moses ,   Germany   (03.09.10)
Har'el - you have such a beautiful voice and you are so talented. Milim stands the best chance in such a competition. You must sing, it at least half, in English !!! only very few countries sing these days in original languages. Do YOURSELF a favor, but also for your International career - Sing in English !! A note for those smart guys that select the songs: WAKE UP!!!! Such old fashioned taste. This is NOT Festival Hazemer.... GOOD LUCK! We will support you from Germany. BEHAZLACHA!
19. Eurovisionb 2010
