The prophets are supposed to have been closer to God than the rest of society and it says in the Tanach that the prophets went naked in public. I learned that where the ego is, God is not. An explanation of why the prophets went naked in public is because they were trying to reach a state of equanimity and nullify their egos so they could become closer to Hashem. There is nothing even remotely sexual about Spencer Tunick's work. The people are just naked, if the human body is offensive to you maybe you aren't even mature enough to have an opinion because the Tanach is full of indecent matters and that should theoretically be offensive to you too. Then again maybe that's why you have such a slanted view of nudity compared to God and our ancestors, you didn't read it. Modesty has nothing to do with clothing and everything to do with your behaviour. A fully clothed person can be just as vulgar and immodest as anyone. The mouth is a sexual organ so why don't you cover it? woohoo, I'm there :^)

The separation of G-d from every living and breathing thing in this entire universe is a false illusion. Art is holy! To celebrate humanity and beauty is to celebrate the love of G-d. If you are afraid of the skin people are born in there is a serious problem with your early education.

That seems to be quite a funny G-d you have on your mind. An almighty G-d who is shocked when watching his own creatures??

Why are so many people small minded, have these people taken the time to look into what Spencer does. This is art and he is always respectful to people and the surroundings. There is nothing more natural than the human body, we should embrace it not hide it.

I like to expose myself naked. I have a beautiful body and why would I not pose it for a an environmental awareness project !? Or I;m guessing u'r one of Sami Offer friends?
