I sent an email to the marketing department of H & M telling them that I would visit their stores and purchase items, BECAUSE they opened stores in Israel. Please do the same and make their decision to open stores in Israel a positive one.

Why protest a store opening in somewhere that is legitimately inside Israel? I guess if it were in the 'territories' I could understand more (barely), but unless you are taking the position that none of Israel belongs to the Jews, then I guess you'd have a point. In either case, GFYS.

From most of the posts Israelis and their supporters just don't get it. The pendulum is swinging. The EU has endorsed the Goldstone Report. President Obama has reiterated his stand for the creation of a sovereign Palestinian State. Israel's refusal to see these signals as a changing tide will be its downfall. For all the bravado being posted here I don't think there is an Israeli alive who really believes it would be better for them if all U.S. financial and military aid were cut off. I find it hard to believe that Israelis believe it would be better for them if the E.U. isolated Israel. this type of thinking is nothing short of self-destructive. I have never set foot in and H&M store, howewver with this "advertising campaign", I will now make sure thatI go to an H&M store sometime over the weekend and in support of H&M having opened a store in Israel with plans of more, I will make sure to support them as much as possible.
