1. Erodogan showed himself an anti-semite. No role for him
David ,   Boston, USA   (03.12.10)
His denial of Jewish history in Judea and Samaria is an insult and anyone representing him should be shunned around the world, but especially in israel.
2. 'Turkey a bridge between Israel, Islamic nations,'
MKL ,   USA   (03.12.10)
Israel wishes to have peace with its Islamic neighbors, unfortunately they all seem to wish for Israel to disappear. If you study the scriptures and trust G-Ds true prophets, then start making preparations for what is to come in the future. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28rAX_fBn4M&feature=related
3. Sack this Envoy who cannot distinguish a fatal enemy
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (03.12.10)
Turkey does not need an embasy in Israel, we should only have embasy in Gaza
4. To # 3 Tayfun
California Bear ,   Berkeley, California   (03.12.10)
The sad part about this is, you and your ilk will be the first to clamor about how Israel is the only party that doesn't want peace. Take a look at your comment, and you'll see whose thwarting peace efforts between Israel and Islamic nations. Turkey is an important ally, both to Israel and the U.S. I agree with that. Don't overestimate your strategic importance however.

What you need is an embassy in Nazi Germany and in Rwanda. Birds of a feather...
6. #3 Tayfun
Hal ,   Usa   (03.13.10)
For more tyhan a wek Tayfun, you and your fellow haters from Turkey have insisted that your country doesn't need Israel. It would seem that you govt feels otherwise. Ready to eat crow or maybe you would like to protest in the streets of Istanbul if you dare! Patheically foolish man!
7. turkey
(03.13.10)
now that the ax is coming down on turkey in loss of israeli tourism to turkey (the turkish minister of tourism is now in israel begging the israeli tourism minister to patch things up because turkey is loosing millions of dollars from loss of jewish tourists....and the ax is coming down on turkey just when the eu and the usa are getting ready to committ to a resolution blaming turkey for the armenian genocide of ww1.... and bring it to the un assembly.... sweden already declared this a turkish genocide today... the turks are sweating. good. erdogan chose the evil axis pact. he is now paying for it ten fold. hameed aboughaze, iranian
8. California Bear from beautiful San Francisco
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (03.13.10)
In addition to your comment to Tayfun where you said Don't overestimate yourself; let us remind him also that in 2003 Turkish parliament members thought if Turkey does not allow the use of their bases and border USA cannot invade Iraq. We already saw that they were wrong. Now the horse trade is about the pullout of US troops but the fact is although it is more expensive if Turkey does not allow the use of Incirlik and Iraqi border US will still be able to pull out. We are a great wealthy country despite our debts.

that ıs the least of the reasons why turkey wants to repair relationshıp wıth israel cause loss of israelıs tourıst is already covered by your iranıan or arap fellow tourists turkey and israel is two natıon in the regıon that has to reamaın lıke thıs ın order to balance.otherwıse arabs narrow mınd will take over whole mıddleeast and those armenısn resolutıons is just agame beıng played by armenıan dıaspora there are two sıde to every story. first go kıck out your mad leader then come tell us what to do
10. #8-How many lives did it cost the US by Turkeys decision?
Ibrahim ,   Ankara, Turkey   (03.14.10)
Had the US invaded Iraq from Turkish soil, the casualties would have been significantly less. No matter how much people try to underestimate Turkey's role in the world, the fact remains that Turkey exerts soft power in the Balkans, Central Asia, Middle East, Pakistan, Philipines and Africa etc. Turkey's true capacity can only been seen during a war. Now it is a sleeping giant.
11. During the invasion the USA casualities were very small
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (03.14.10)
It was after the invasion when the resurgence started that USA and the allies started to have causalities. Stop seeing yourself - in what they call in Turkey DEV AYNASI - a Giant's mirror and come down to reality. Yest Turkey is an important ally but not as important as you might think it is. Great countries - like USA - do not put all of their eggs in one basket, They have plans and alternatives. I know; you will tell me that Turkey also has alternatives like joining Islamic or Arab alliances. In that case I wish all my good enlightened Turkish friends good luck.

There is so much hate in these talkbacks. Turkey will need israel for a long time and vice-versa. Governments come and go. In Turkey we have left wing parties and the military wanting better ties ans vice- versa. Opposing parties are religious parties and vice-versa. People in Turkey are less educated and more easily influenced. There are not so many countries Turkey can trust,as they think ( including the Arabs and the EU), and vice-versa. So stop these negative feedbacks. I was born in Turkey and I love Israel, and i hope we will have a great future, we have more in common that we think...
