The comments on Israels actions was more than appropriate. In fact, the comments by the US were well deserved. Human rights is just that, human rights. If Israel truly wants peace, then it should learn how to hand the olive branch of peace to the Palestinians, and the Palestinians in turn need to recognize the right of Israel. The lesson here is simple: Learn to coexist together, or at some point, perish together. Learn what the true message of God is all about: LOVE and HARMONY!

It is not anti-semitic to not blindly support Israel. It's not the ADL's job to bolster foreign policy support for Israel. For those of us in the American community who support social justice, we see that Israel occasionally does things that are stupid, counterproductive, and/or vile. I won't condemn the attack on Gaza (who really expected a constant volley of rockets at Israelis homes wouldn't eventually get a response?), but continued land grabs are a kind of blatant population politics that merits a harsh response. Ancient myths are no excuse to try to claim a greater Israel - Israel should freeze growth in contested areas, execute every settler that provokes, and push hard for a more permanent resolution to the situation. The Palestinians need to be pushed similarly strongly.

Israel annexed east Jerusalem irrevokably. It Is open to all visitors but let's face it ; it can't be a political capital of a Palestinian state. Israel has long said this was a non starter. So why is everyone all excited? Palestinians can buy land and build houses there like anyone can with some money and an architect.
