You seem so cocksure about who and what the "settlers" in Samaria and Judea are you'd think you've been living there for quite a long time and are qualified to describe these "militant" people. Actually, you have no clue what the people are like. In case you're interested (which I doubt), they vary from secular to orthodox, from the old Sephardic branch of Jews to the Ashkenazim including Americans and Europeans with a good number of post-communist Russian Jewish immigrants. Most of the people who reside in the "settlements" have families and are very involved in making a living, a difficult task in modern day Israel. Many older Jews are veterans of the IDF while the youth, both young men and women, proudly serve their nation. They live apart from the Palestinian Arab people, their villages are isolated from one another and, normally, they have very little commerce with one another except for the many Arabs who have found construction work in the Yishuvs. This form of work has now been prohibited by Mr. Abbas, however. In general, "settlers" just want to get on with their lives. They would prefer peaceful solutions. They would definitely prefer not having to be so aware of security measures. They do not believe that Samaria and Judea should be "Judenfrei" anymore than Israel proper should not include Palestinian Arabs. If you were to actually meet individual Jews who reside in "settlements", most would tell you that ideally they'd like to have commerce with Arabs, trade with them, build businesses together such as tourist lodges and meccas on the waterways and develop an interior canal which would increase the the possibility of international tourism thereby enriching both Palestinians, Jordanians and Israelis.
