He is a child rapist, a pedophile, which is really scum of the earth. He regrets and must be helped? He repents? Wonderful. But that doesn't erase the suffering of his victim. Pedophiles are monsters, who destroy innocence and hope and deserve the highest punishment. Reserve pity for the victims, not the perpetrators.

This makes me sick - that poor 14 year old child who seems to be completely igmored. I fear for others in the community.

How dare this monster have the audacity to call himself "religious" - just because you wear the trappings does not make you so. A religious person has a pure soul and a good heart. The people who defended this animal are the same. I hope the victim (and there may be others who have not dared to come forward) will be given the appropriate care and treatment.
