Our reality ,   USA   (03.17.10)

32. The humanists dont go to the dangerous areas
Dan ,   USA   (03.17.10)
or fight the Chechens. They know that fighting the Chechens or Pakistanis guarantees decapitation. So, they fight the democratic Israel.
33. Name the streets in her honor in all 22 Arab dictatorships
Franck ,   USA   (03.17.10)
She did not go there because if she did she would last a day.
34. She was dozing
Talula ,   Israel   (03.17.10)
Not quite as capturing as the unknown rebel in the Tiananmen Square photographs. I can't stand these do-gooders who come here and think they can make a difference by standing in front of tank - trying to protect suicide bombers and murderers. Sad she died so young, but she decided to play chicken with a 50 ton tank.......and lost.
35. I HOPE THERE WILL BE A WARNING SIGN
zionist forever   (03.17.10)
I do hope there will be a warning sign on Corrie Street reminding people when there is construction work being done in Corrie Street not to run in front of the bulldozer. If the palestinians ever get bored of naming streets after local terrorists & ISM idiots then there are plenty of others who would be proud to have streets named after them. Obama Street Clinton Street Biden Street Livni Street Olmert Street Peres Street Ahmadinejad Street Bin Laden Street
36. NAME OF THE STREET
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (03.17.10)
They should name the street :The Fool who played chicken with a Bulldozer and lost Street.

ghostq   (03.17.10)
that don't consern USA, you neive r you you trully believe USA involvment is cause they care, no, and as for goldston, you don't know much about jews, jews r free thinkers, there is no herd phenomena like in Arab society, there is a saying where there 3 jews there r 3 different opinion you won't find anyone think alike and in Goldston case the only person he represent is the extreme left wingers who payed him to make report that doesn't relay on evidences. every body knows that fact especialy when his entire career is based on putting africans(not caucation) behind bars, and the irony is arabs realy buy his "saint" act ignoring his ability to take bribe in order to disrupt justic.
40. Rachel Corrie
Marilyn ,   USA   (03.17.10)
Here it is a general rule that people should not protect the guilty, like criminals and people with illegal guns and so forth. While it might be tempting to bring up their childhoods and feel oh so sorry for them, they have still made a choice and they might very well be still dangerous. Rachel Corrie was more like one of those seemingly normal people that somehow has extreme urges to feel sorry for like violently troubled people, although not really getting into the mechanics of how to actually help them, and going so far as to go to other countries and in spite of opposition.
41. Amazing!
(03.17.10)
First the Darwin Award, now a street.
42. AN APPROPRIATE NAME FOR THE

43. TALKBACK NUMBER 26.
Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (03.17.10)
THIS IS A SAD INCIDENT THOUGH. YOUNG PEOPLE, SO CALLED INTELLECTUALS, MISSLEAD BY A FALSE DOCTRINE AND IDEOLOGY, SACRIFICES THEMSELVES AS USEFUL IDIOTS, FOR WHAT THEY THINK IS GOD, HUMANLY TO SPEAK, WHEN THEY ACTUALLY WORKS FOR THE EVIL ONE. Arn.
44. I wonder how many streets named after suicide bombers
A ,   Hinatan   (03.17.10)
intersect with this one. And how many of named after people who derprive women of rights to work out of house and to walk these streets without a companion of male relative.
45. some sick comments!
AlistairClark ,   Scotland   (03.17.10)
Some of you people call us leftist and some call us antisemites, why?because we know right from wrong, disprove propaganda and know Israel is a serial violator of human rights and international law. Anyone who really wants to know what happens in Israel just has to ask any one of the many human rights organisations ,many of these are Jewish.

A Scotsman walking through a field, sees a man drinking water from a pool with his hand. The Scotsman man shouts ' Awa ye feel hoor thatâs full Oâ coos Sharn' (Don't drink the water, it's full of cow s ** t.) The man shouts back 'I'm English, Speak English, I don't understand you'. The Scotsman man shouts back 'Use both hands, you'll get more in.' What did the English ever do to you?
47. To #11 John Robey
m   (03.17.10)
I think you don't have all the facts while you bring this comparisson Mr. Rachel Corrie defended terrorists, she and her friends hid a wanted terrorist in their office, in US she would have been in prison for that! First get your facts from other sites except the radical left who like to fudge the inconvenient truth.
48. Alistair Clark - here's human rights proof you're a racist
JPS ,   Efrat   (03.17.10)
Alistair - of course you don't know right from wrong. You have never launched a campaign to put Palestinian leaders on trial for war crimes despite the findings of the world's leading human rights groups and Goldstone himself. Of course you're a racist! Here's the proof: "Human Rights Watch found violations of humanitarian law by the Palestinian armed groups ... where there was strong evidence of individual criminal intent, indicating the commission of war crimes. Statements by Palestinian armed groups that they fired rockets in order to instill fear in the Israeli population and their use of rockets against areas without any evident military targets is evidence of criminal intent." Human Rights Watch http://www.hrw.org/en/node/10911/section/5 and "The attacks against civilians by Palestinian armed groups are widespread, systematic and in pursuit of an explicit policy to attack civilians. They therefore constitute crimes against humanity under international law. They may also constitute war crimes" http://www.amnesty.org/en/library/info/MDE02/003/2002 and finally, Goldstone himself: "... the report contains the clearest finding that Hamas and other militant Palestinian groups committed serious war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity. The acceptance of those findings by the Human Rights Council and the General Assembly has been ignored completely..." Richard Goldstone, Interviewed by Ha'aretz, Nov 13 2009
49. 46 Talula ,love your post!
AlistairClark ,   Scotland   (03.17.10)
Super post ,love it,We Scots are not as hard to understand as you would think.I have loads of english friends and an english wife ,scots v english is mostly friendly rivalry as the scots are a little brighter than english and ofcourse the english will say the opposite but again its only fun,Scotland has a huge amount of water running that is good to drink ,so i cant imagine anyone wi a drough drinkin frae a clarty shugh.;)
50. Alistair Clark, you know nothing.
Brad ,   USA   (03.17.10)
In fact, you know less than nothing. Your squeeling on human rights is laughable. International law is an ass. People like "Corrie", and you are liars. You will lose.
51. #11 how dare you put Mr.Goodman in the same gategory
rachel ,   usa   (03.17.10)
as an idiot who knew nothing about the middle east ....
52. The Arabs put her in harms way to make her a martyr
(03.17.10)
53. #19 even the kids are looking at her like she's crazy !!!!!
rachel ,   usa   (03.17.10)
54. #12 - Ungratefulness? Seems to come from US side
William ,   Israel   (03.17.10)
For all of the partnership that Israel has with the US, Obama's team felt it ok to hang Israel out to dry, as it seems to be doing with it's other allies. Should we be grateful for this? Just yesterday, the Joint Chiefs of Staff are recommending to punish Israel and force a 2-State solution in order to appease violent Arabs in the hopes they will stop attacking US troops. In other words, the US is willing to sacrifice millions of innocent lives to save US soldiers from a violent, non-accepting population in a war that most Americans don't believe you should be engage in. So what exactly should we be grateful for?
55. #15 - But we will demolish more "Pal" homes
William ,   Israel   (03.17.10)
If they are used as a weapons labs, for weapons storage, or cover for smuggling - they are considered military use and will be destroyed. And if that family knowingly hides or supports a suicide attack on civilians, they will lose their house. Cry, yell, throw rocks, or defecate all you want - you know the price and continue to pay it.
56. #29 - because they're not settlers
William ,   Israel   (03.17.10)
How can one be a settler in their own house that was occupied illegally by an Arab family and finally returned through the courts? I think you mean "every Jew" when you mention settler....and that's why you won't seem to reach Statehood. You celebrate the violent and you vilify an entire race of people. Nice job.
57. #45 - Hmm, know right from wrong, huh?
William ,   Israel   (03.17.10)
Yeah, I haven't seen much proof of that. Infact, I've seen Leftists be more vile, more filthy and disturbed than terrorists they support because they are just at married to their own ideologies. I see Leftists attack anything that dispels their beliefs, using democracy as a cover and the word "racism" to shock their opponents and gain sympathy. If you know right from wrong, then you would know it's not right to lie and it's not right to destroy someone's reputation by spreading rumors. You support the Goldstone Report, for example, and make heinous claims on Israel - yet, even the author said the report had no legal basis for the accusations. Are you sure you know right from wrong, or is it under the prism of the radical Left?
58. #27 thanks for saying that , I would spit in his face also
rachel ,   usa   (03.17.10)
59. #45 your delusional ..when you don't know the facts don't ta
rachel ,   usa   (03.17.10)
talk.....To know the facts you have to look deeply at both sides ....and not read propaganda
60. Honoring Rachel Corrie
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (03.17.10)
is the right and just thing to do. An unarmed human rights activist attempted to stop the bulldozing of an unoccupied dwellling in Gaza. She was callously killed by the bulldozer driver who knew she was in the area and refused to call the 'vaunted' IDF to have her removed from the area. Instead he drove over her and killed her. It is amazing to read the drivel written about her death and the hatred of her endemic in Israeli-supporters. It seems that no life is important unless it it is a Jewish life. Although if it is a Jewish life opposed to Israeli policies, that is to be applauded by these talkbackers also.
